re: What makes Guidry so scary now is he has complete command

He is finally back to throwing as hard as he did in high school.

Since I’m not one to study games this close to, I would ask what was LSU runs scored opening weekend in those years?
re: CFB has become retarded. Indiana is a great team but come on.

I am a diehard LSU and SEC fan, but the butt hurt from so many in both camps is ridiculous. Indiana is doing this without a team full of 4-5 stars and without spending the kind of money that all of our teams are spending. They are taking a bunch of low star, grown man strength, disciplined lunch pail guys and kicking everyone’s butt. I kinda like how they have done it and am rooting for them.
re: Herbie calls Indiana the best turnaround in the history of college football.

Boys, Indiana has had like 4 winning seasons since turn of century. To now be playing for a national championship is pretty amazing. Take ya’lls butt hurt SEC glasses off. For anyone who thinks that isn’t amazing is man idiot!
re: Indiana average age is 24 years old.

Not a bad way to go for some teams. You get some grown man strength and maturity going against gym strength and I’m better than everyone mind set!
re: Things can’t continue like this in college athletics
Posted by Buckeye Dad on 1/17/26 at 8:05 pm to oldskule
Only way it continues is you will be paying $30 for a Canes samich and they will have to seale a shite ton of them! No matter how well we do next year, I do not like the new college football!
re: Predict the starting 5 on OL
Posted by Buckeye Dad on 1/17/26 at 8:42 am to PenguinNinja
I believe coaches will do a much better job of setting offense up to take advantage of what OL can do good and adjust to hide what they can’t do. Instead of the old regime that would pound a square peg into a round hole!
re: Looking at the stickied roster thread, what is currently your biggest concern?
Posted by Buckeye Dad on 1/17/26 at 8:38 am to PenguinNinja
You boys need to chill on the offensive side. Honestly no one knows what it’s gonna look like. The change in scheme is going to help hide some short comings. We actually have a coach that will set up offensive based off of what we can do, not try and pound a square peg into a round hole. As for defense, bend but don’t break. Record may not be much better than this year or may be way better, but I do believe they will be a lot more fun to watch!

Screw that prick! He is an educated idiot when it comes to sports.
re: If Indiana were in the SEC how would they do?
Posted by Buckeye Dad on 1/11/26 at 7:24 pm to Buttermilk Pancakes
I have watched several of their games this year. Keep telling buddies they were going to be hell to deal with. They didn’t believe me. They would still be undefeated or maybe 1 loss. They are built like SEC teams were a few years ago. They just beat the hell out of you on the lines!!!
re: Kiffin, more than anyone else at a P4, will pick offensive players that fit his system
Posted by Buckeye Dad on 1/5/26 at 12:49 pm to markthetiger
He also brought in a D2 QB who is leading Ole Miss right now. Most of you would shite your pants if Lane did that right now. Everyone needs to chill a little bit. He has this portal, another high school signing date coming and another portal this summer. I tend to think by the time it’s said and done we will have a better team next year than this year. Maybe not exactly where we want, but trending in the right direction.
re: Indiana ain’t winning the natty
Posted by Buckeye Dad on 1/1/26 at 4:40 pm to Frac the world
Anyone that thinks Indiana isn’t for real is a fool. Motor graders up front, RB with motor that doesn’t quit and a QB you can’t rattle with a D that is very stubborn. They will be hard to beat.
re: OREGON will win the natty

I don’t think so. With the calls their head coach has made in first half he is going to cost them the game. Kick the dang field goals. Dominanting the game on only up 3-0 because he keeps going for it on 4th.
re: RC at it again
Posted by Buckeye Dad on 12/11/25 at 3:24 pm to Jim bean xxx
In today’s world you best be hiring the most qualified person you can find regardless of any other traits. As far as person of any race, religion or whatever, all of us make mistakes and screw ups. That really has nothing to do with anything but the individual. Screw what RC says!

re: Nuss is still a kid
Posted by Buckeye Dad on 11/9/25 at 2:12 pm to AMac
I get tired of hearing how a 19-22 year old is a kid. At 20 I was part of Desert Storm. Worried about a hellava lot more than a LB hitting me and bet you’re arse I wasn’t making $100,000 or more. You are old enough to vote, you took unbelievable money to play a kids game. Man up and do the job!

Yes ask them. and look at how their programs have been for last decade or so.
re: Does TAF and private money pay most of the LSU football coaching payroll!
Posted by Buckeye Dad on 10/29/25 at 9:11 pm to LeGrosChat
Am I missing something? Does the governor even have a say in what goes on at LSU outside of appointments to BOS? Also, I would expect him to be more concerned with getting decent jobs and companies to bring good jobs to the state rather than worrying about a coaching search! At the end of the day that will make the citizens more happy! By the way, I am republican, but enough with all this stupid shite!

We just got done with a big name hire. How about an up and coming coach with some piss and vinegar!
