re: Nuss is still a kid

I get tired of hearing how a 19-22 year old is a kid. At 20 I was part of Desert Storm. Worried about a hellava lot more than a LB hitting me and bet you’re arse I wasn’t making $100,000 or more. You are old enough to vote, you took unbelievable money to play a kids game. Man up and do the job!
Yes ask them. and look at how their programs have been for last decade or so.
Am I missing something? Does the governor even have a say in what goes on at LSU outside of appointments to BOS? Also, I would expect him to be more concerned with getting decent jobs and companies to bring good jobs to the state rather than worrying about a coaching search! At the end of the day that will make the citizens more happy! By the way, I am republican, but enough with all this stupid shite!
We just got done with a big name hire. How about an up and coming coach with some piss and vinegar!

Kinda makes you wonder if any of our fans have ever heard any other coaches go off on a reporter. I believe Kelly knows the O has to get better, but I also think they are coaching the team and playing the game to win with how they are playing. I actually think he realizes that he should have made some change in the offensive staff. Saw his reaction a few times last night after some plays, didn’t look real happy. I would love to see us putting up 50 and winning by 30, but in the end I don’t care if we win by 3 every game as long as we win. I’ll just take more medication!
While I do think he needs to improve quickly, folks seem to not realize that he has kinda been forced to play every position on the line in the last year. There is quite a bit of difference in what a tackle, guard and center do and are responsible for. I’m not willing to throw him out with the bath water just yet, however as I said, he needs to improve quickly!
If you watched that game Saturday and think Alabama should be ranked anywhere close to top 10 then you are delusional. Has nothing to do with bias one way or another. That team didn’t look good at all. I for one figured they wouldn’t keep the dominance they had under Saban, but never thought they would fall this far this fast.

Then stop watching. I for one love more football. Here in a couple weeks I’ll be bored as hell on Saturdays. Just love watching the game!
I have defended BK. I thought it would take time to rebuild team once he got here. Took program a bit to learn how to play this NIL game. Best I can tell that has been figured out. In my opinion if he doesn’t make it to at least the semis next season that seat should get very hot. Money is being thrown at players, you have a top QB returning, one of the highest paid staffs in college and anything else you need. It’s time to play big boys ball again. I want LSU to succeed so I also want BK to, but if he can’t get us up there next year then it’s time for change!
So he can run for his life here instead of there?
I think we win because I doubt they make change at QB being down that much. However I also think if a frog had wings he wouldn’t bump his arse when he jumps!

I would say he probably has to get better at blocking schemes. If he can’t help pass block or run routes then he could be a detriment to O. You dang sure don’t want to just run every time he’s in. Wouldn’t take long for others to figure that out. He will be guy by end of year, probably a lot sooner!
If some of y’all would look at a map and where Las Vegas is in relation to Louisiana and California, you may notice that it was a little bit further back to Louisiana than USC had to make.
LSU recruited him but got commitment from Harlem Berry (#1 RB in La). He then committed to Texas and we got another RB commitment from kid out of Alexandria that is pretty dang good also. Can’t get them all. After watching the 2 RB at Texas today he may be in portal after next season if they stick around. Those guys are pretty good to!
I know he hasn’t pitched all year, but he was pretty good in HS and did come to LSU as a dual player. What about Jake Brown? Could he maybe go 1-2 innings if needed?
He was a pretty good pitcher in HS and was supposed to be a two way guy at LSU. Saw him last year in HS playoff and he does have some pretty good stuff.
I’ve listened to all the stuff between these 2 teams for the last year. I fill I have a unique perspective on it. We live 30 minutes from West Monroe, while our son, who coached in north central Louisiana for 4 years has been an assistant coach at Barbe the last 2 years. The coaches are similar in that they both love the game and love winning. I can tell you for a fact that Barbe doesn’t recruit, which I always thought they did. Now if someone wants to move into their district and can play they will gladly take them and it does happen. As for as age of players at WM, they have been doing that for years with their FB team. Nothing wrong with it. All within the rules. Don’t like it, change the rule. I just enjoy watching 2 really good teams, well coached compete against each other.
While I like Guidry, he can’t hit a FB harder than 90mph and can’t hit sec level breaking balls. He couldn’t hit a decent on in high school. Now, if he is going to get mid 80’s FB put him in. He will crush them.
