re: Will anyone make the argument that AD23 having better rookie yr than CP3?

Damn that is a good breakdown. Pretty awesome. He says that AD might just end up being solid, with almost spectacular blocking in the future, but I believe AD can develop into a beast. Just needs minutes and time to grow and develop. If Lebron can develop a low game this late in his career in the post, then AD certainly can too.

The myth of running backs becoming antiquated is exaggerated.
Adrian Peterson is the greatest example. If it was not for him being such a beast, the vikings would have been about like the chiefs if having to rely on Ponder.

Do you think that removing the cap would not make this worse though?
A cap keeps fantasy teams in check. Spreads talent, and makes general managers and trades so much more interesting. Coaching and scheme can really shine as well.

They already do. You just listed the past 4 NBA Finals win
 Did not notice really. But at least now some teams are running the playoffs.
And the mavericks got there with one player, Dirk. I only mentioned the Mavs because Cuban is loaded. Rich teams will never have to worry.

That is true about the Yanks. It still bothers me though that they will always have the ability to outbuy anyone though.

These "he is a product of the system" arguments are always stupid to me.
The only player who has really ever fit into this category for me was Colt Brennan. System being throwing every play and doing so against some of the worst secondaries in the country. He has not done anything since Georgia violated him in the Sugar Bowl.

I am not saying I believe them. I was just saying that it backed up my feelings that we need them. If I believed them I would provide a link for the link happy folks here.
And yeah that is a personal conflict for me. I am not for anything to limit business politically, but the MLB sucks now so what to do, what to do.
Yeah I can see the "socialist" nature of it, and definitely get the Un American feeling. But the non salary cap is hurting the MLB too. It has turned into a Yankees, Angels, Boston league. That is just shitty and boring.

I didn't want to jump into the replace bud selig thread or whatever, but I personally think that not having a salary cap is killing major league baseball. The Yankees buy their playoff appearances and what not.
Someone told me the NBA may consider to getting rid of theirs as well. If that happens, it will kill a lot of interest in the sport. The Lakers, Celtics, Mavericks, Heat, and maybe a couple others will run the league since they have all the money. It just makes things stale and boring.

Rome 2 total war is coming out later this year. Should be really awesome graphically. Check that. All the old total war games were good. Depends what type of games you want. I do not think that I could play games like cod or battlefield 3 on a computer.

Pisses me off. I went to a brantley gilbert concert here at the river center not long ago because my girlfriend at the time wanted to go. That is the type of shite people call country now. More like hillbilly white trash rock and roll. The dude was out there on stage in a black wife beater with a silver chain and up there cussing up a storm, crossing his arms and shite like a rapper or something. It was the biggest joke. I cannot believe people buy that shite.
Who are your favorite country artists?
Posted by PrivateJoker on 2/8/13 at 11:31 pm
I usually tend to stick with Don Williams, Merle Haggard, and Conway for some of the older stuff, and really like Keith Whitley, George Strait, Hank Williams (sr and jr).
And what is your absolute favorite song from a country artist?
