Pay attention to the patriots during pre-season. One of the new WRs will break out and be available.
re: How would the esteemed posters of the F&DB handle this?

I don't know, maybe it's cause I'm new to the f&d board but the stare-down part makes you come off as an a-hole. You stated the waitress immediately apologized and offered a free dessert (likely the most she could offer without a manager's approval) and just ignore her and try to intimidate her with a stare?
A simple "No thank you, I would prefer a new plate" would have sufficed.

re: So Ags: If JFF is not caught and gets to play, how do you react?

I mean technically he is guilty of acting like an arse the whole off-season. Putting himself in situations that would obviously bring negative attention to the program and school. With something this serious on the horizon, I say if he manages to come out unscathed Sumlin has to do something to curb his behavior.
I've never read into TAMU holier than thou, but if you do hold yourselves to "higher" standards, why has there been no word of discipline for everything else?

I was starting to have a problem with it, but I found the source of my problem. To slow it down dramatically, do not dry your hair so roughly. I realized I was guilty of this and soon stopped. I've seen a large decrease in the speed of me losing hair.
This and switching to Garnier Fructis product that supposedly strengthens hair.

Yet you flock to a thread titled "The Newsroom July 21" lol.
Seems like that dump isn't something you would hate.

Flavor of the month. We just had probably the most anticipated cases this year.
re: Corn vs. flour torillias- A definitive answer
Posted by Lucky Tiger13 on 7/12/13 at 10:16 am
I'm sorry to say but your girlfriend is wrong. Either is fine for any meal in the day. Time of day is not what determines what is better, it's the actual entree that does.
For instance, some people enjoy barbacoa for breakfast which is amazing on fresh corn tortillas with a good salsa. Typically, the rule I go by is if rice or some type of sopita is involved you go corn. Otherwise flour is best. A contradiction to that is a good menudo which is perfect with flour.
I prefer the taste of fresh made flour tortillas anyways and will most of the time request that no matter what im eating.

I think anyone on welfare (not temporary unemployment or food stamps, but "get a check every month from the government" welfare) should have mandatory birth control. Women who don't get regular birth control shots don't get their checks. I also think anyone on that type of welfare should be required to attend classes or job training, and perform community service. I've been called a fascist for these opinions, but I think someone who needs the help of "we the people" to live should have some requirements.
The birth control, while justifiable, will likely never happen. But, the community service portion for welfare recipients capable I have been saying for a while.

Bumping this instead of making a new thread. Made the stop here last week and had a good time. Owner/staff was friendly and food was great. Decided to bring a couple friends from out of town there on Saturday after the spring game and had a great time. Owner mentioned the possibility of LSU themed promotions (i.e. % off if wearing LSU gear)
Positives:
-Well seasoned and large crawfish
-Mushrooms were incredible
-Canebrake on tap for $2
-Using Manda sausage which I love
-Price: 3 lbs for roughly $10 bucks
Negatives:
-Could clean crawfish a little more to prevent grass (also purge better)
-Payment method. You pay when you order which means you also pay again for a tab if you're drinking. Just inconvenient I guess.

Do you guys not like Don's off the interstate only or do you also not like the one off the frontage road in Carencro? Cause I grew up in Lafayette and even my buddies in Broussard/Scott/Youngsville agree that Don's in Carencro is one of the best.
re: Value of LED
Posted by Lucky Tiger13 on 2/18/13 at 12:03 pm
The lighting in the room will be controllable. I'll likely use it for sports and occasional streaming of netflix/hulu.
I have an LED and an LCD and I know the LED is worth it over the LCD.
I know I will love the LED. I don't want to purchase the plasma and have buyer's remorse. I guess the $200 is worth the guarantee that I will be satisfied.

Value of LED

60 in Panasonic Plasma TV - $798 (~$900 AFTER TAX) (SAMS CLUB)
60 in Samsung LED TV - $1,100 on AMAZON (FREE SHIPPING & NO TAX)
From everything I've read, Panasonic is the leader for plasma and Samsung is the leader in LED. Is the quality of LED worth the $200 price difference?

Not even top 25. I understand nostalgia but the game itself is pretty terrible.
I agree tho, MK3 was waaay better.

It's actually not terrible in raids, it's pvp that you noticed the clickers/keyboard turners the most.

I did, was directed to people who couldn't handle the playstyle of Tera. I actually downloaded it last night and tried it for about an hour. This game is amazing considering it is free. People who clicked in WoW will probably have a hard time though.

Anyone think he looks a lot like Alley Broussard? I played with him in high school and came to LSU with him when he started. Looks just like him.
