This is small potatoes(small brain) thinking.
We should utilize the compliance dept to provide their knowledge of the rules to assist in breaking said rules, yet maintaining plausible deniability of breaking said rules.
Two of your best players were vets. Milan and Brown just weren’t that type of leader.
Just finished BB rewatch, in season 6 of Justified rewatch.
For me BB is hard to watch. Was painfully slow at times, and so many hateable characters. WW is arguably the evilest of all the evil protagonist (Vic Mackey and Tony Soprano would like a word). It’s great tv, but not my favorite.
Justified is one of my all time favorites. I love the dialogue in Justified. some of the secondary characters were phenomenal: mags bennet, Wynn Duffy, Elstin Limehouse, judge Reardon, dickie bennet, Dewey crow. Also Winona was so fine.
Obviously subjective, but justified>BB
It’s entertaining to me that most people think doctors are just sitting around with their thumbs up their arse. If they overbook, you bitch about waiting in the office. If they don’t, you bitch about not being able to get an appointment.
Also, you don’t consider that maybe the patient before you just got devastating news. Or maybe they required an interpreter service as required by law. Or maybe they were just an a-hole that showed up one minute before the 15min deadline, f’ing up the timeline for everyone behind them. Regardless, a “late” doctor is likely (at least partially) late due to circumstances beyond their control.
Unless you live in Florida, I would think this is a federal crime. Should contact FBI. Probably won’t get any money back, but it might help serve justice.

And then give me the twenty, and I’ll give you the pubes.

re: The Shield

The shield was the first show of its kind I ever watched…Episodic, but with longer arcs.
I didn’t have hbo at the time, so the shield, and later Justified, were brand new concepts for me.
Also, the shield really muddied the lines between protagonist and antagonist. They showed you in the very first episode what a terrible guy Vic was, but they still were able to make him more than sympathetic (very similar to Tony Soprano).
I watched the shield first, so it’s my #1. For me, Justified is next, followed by the wire and the sopranos.
Recommendations for a good app for planning fishing trips in regards to tidal movement. Please and thank you,

Mags Bennet, so good
We’ve discussed this in a previous la lagniappe thread of mine.
My previous experience at Mansur’s have been OK, not great. I specifically ordered the “visiting fish” tonight based on what you said in a prior thread. It was fantastic. Thanks for the rec.
I ordered crawfish bisque tonight expecting a very dark, roux base with stuffed crawfish heads.
What I got was (in my mind) a lobster bisque with crawfish instead of lobster.
It was good, but it’s not what I expected or wanted.
Thoughts on what constitutes crawfish bisque.
I rank it below Ruth’s and La Lagniappe based on my experience.
Last time I went was mediocre. Tonight really bumped it up the list for me, though. Everything was great.

Nice dinner at Mansur’s tonight

Apps were shrimp cocktail, chargrilled oysters, tuna, egg rolls. All very good.
Wife had veal Oscar. Very good with a nice bernaise. I think there was a Demi as well.
Friend had cedar plank redfish. Said it was very good.
Rest of us had the “visiting” triple tail, pan-seared with buerre blanc. I had mine with the “cocodrie” topping(crab, mushrooms, green onions). Served over garlic mashed potatoes or Parmesan risotto. The fish was phenomenal. Everyone cleaned their plates.
Butterfinger crème brûlée stole the show from the dessert course.
I’ll be honest… I wasn’t super excited to be going here tonight (group date), but they knocked it out of the park.

Caught 10 croaker. Unfortunately, that was not our desired target species.
All the croaker caught on live shrimp. Didn’t get a bite on artificial. Was pretty rough, but water was moving and relatively clean. Very disappointing.

Justin Bowles seems to be a popular name that always comes up in this subject. I don’t have any first hand knowledge, though.
