I was a life long New Orleanian, lived uptown all my life. When I retired, I looked around at all the crime and the state of the local government and decided to moved full time to Bay St Louis, spend most summers here before. Love it over here. Will never move back. no real crime, not much traffic, nice restaurants, fish when the weather allows. Nola can burn down as far as I'm concerned now. But property values are going up fast, good properties dont stay on the market more than a couple of days.

Jazz Fest has been pushed back till Sept. or Oct.. NOLA is in for some very tough times, but again, we will get through this, and in the end, we will be ok!

It will be over by the end of the month, everything will take time to get back to normal and times will be tough, but it will get back to normal. chill out and take a deep breath !

I went to ROberts today, fully stocked, bought a couple of strips, had all the tp you needed, bottled water, prepared meals, every thing you need. you don't know what the frick you're talking about.
