re: Last night was blatant proof that John Chavis was never the problem.
Posted by rjlsu985 on 9/13/15 at 12:50 pm
The biggest problem with Les Miles is that he doesn't gameplan to actually go out and dominate and win games. He gameplans to just be in the game in the 4th with a chance to win. Obviously it's backfired on him a lot and it leaves the opponent with a chance to steal the game at the end after being dominated for most of the game. It's very telling that a very loyal guy like Chavis chose to leave. And now Steele will be getting a lot of heat bcuz the defense who dominates a game for 3-3.5 quarters finally gets a lil tired and starts giving up yards bcuz at the end of a game. Those yards would be meaningless in a blowout but bcuz our ultra conservative play calling those yards are key to holding on to the win. And now the game rests on the bodies of our tired defense who have dominated most of the game.

Maybe it's the jersey number, but he makes me think of Emmitt, and a 1990's local talent name Dwayne Woods of Salmen High
re: Laremy Tunsil arrested

quote:. Exactly. The truth is probably Tunsil beat up or just punched the stepdad for whatever reason and they've concocted a story to make him seem like a hero in the end so he wouldn't risk losing millions in next years draft and a possible suspension this year. If the story that's being put out was true the stepdad would've been arrested for domestic violence for the shoving of his moms.
I haven't seen where there has been a warrant issued for the dad. Kinda silly to turn yourself in when you're not actually wanted. Also not a reach to think that was is being reported, isn't 100% what actually happened.

To be honest if college basketball wasnt so in love with " diaper dandies" he would be a front runner fot NCAA POY.

quote:. As a niners fan I would rather kubiak than gase. Kubiak has had success and is somewhat proven. Gase on the other hand might just be a disciple of Peyton Manning's offense. With kaeps regression this year we can't afford to take a chance on gase.
Sweet. The Niners need a young offensive mind to figure out how to fix Kaep. Gase and Kubiak were my top 2 choices.
re: Question about Oregon's offense

quote:. Yes but at the same time this gimmicky offense makes a lot of players look better than what they are. MM is good and appears to be a special player but all I ever see him do is throw to wide open players bcuz of the offense.
They actually have never had a qb as good as MM. Also, in 2011 they actually moved the ball against us, we just made huge special teams and defensive plays.

What happened to that offense when they played us?

because you guys suck and after Oregon hangs 50 on you shite DB's and the meltdown......
re: Kobe > Anthony Davis?

quote:. That is a good point but as I stated before those newly created ratings doesn't mean anything compared to actually watching the game. There are way too many variables involved to rate a player offensively and defensively . Anyone can just not watch the actual games and go dig up that info and just assume a said player is either good or bad. And on the flip side of your point I could say that the last 2 years in Cleveland he lacked a supporting cast and so that's why his ratings where up and the next 2 years in Miami when Wade and Bosh were on top of there games obviously Lebron's rating took a slight dive and then final 2 years in Miami Bosh and Wade weren't as effective so then Lebron shouldered the load more and that's why his ratings went up. And back to Cleveland now with a better and younger supporting cast his ratings are obviously down again.
Kevin Love's ortg/drtg is lower, shocking right? Same with LeBron's in Year #1 miami compared to his previous years in Cleveland. Year 6 Cleveland: 122 ortg, 99 drtg Year 7 Cleveland: 121 ortg, 102 drtg Year 1 miami: 116 ortg, 102 drtg Year 2 miami: 118 ortg, 97 drtg Year 3 miami: 125 ortg, 101 drtg Year 4 miami: 121 ortg, 105 drtg Year 8 Cleveland: 113 ortg, 106 drtg damn, sounds to me like transitioning to me.

Hey boom what happened to that God awful supporting cast that's around AD? Seems like they found a way to win this game without the "best player in the world". Lmao
re: Kobe > Anthony Davis?

quote:. You right that's why kevin love who put up monster numbers on a bad Twolves team the last few years is putting up lower numbers on a cavs team this year.
Wrong. The team is pretty good when he is on the floor. They just blow the game when he is off. You can't pad your stats on the bench. He's not taking nearly as many shots as he should be on ANY team in the NBA. FG% is too high. And he's not turning it over. So I don't see how he is benefitting from being on a bad team stats wise.

quote:The problem is if you're going to say his team is awful then that takes away from he great he supposedly is. That would imply that his numbers are padded because he plays on a bad team so which one is?
So you blame Davis, specifically, for how awful his team is when he's on the bench, does that really make sense in your eyes?

re: Kobe > Anthony Davis?

Right. It's like they just started watching basketball when the Pelicans came to town. And focusing on all these newly created stats to tell them who is the best player in the league is just plain dumb. I don't have to look at PER, Offensive rating , defensive rating and +/- to tell me what I'm actually seeing isn't true. AD is a phenomenal young player but let's face it he does everything for the pels and his numbers can be inflated because of his supporting cast. Hell look at the numbers kevin love was putting up in Minnesota the last few years and they aren't close to what he's doing now since he's playing with better talent .

re: Kobe > Anthony Davis?

Damn have you been reading anything. No he wouldn't LBJ and KD would go 1&2. So if you had a championship to win this year or you were gonna get fired. As a head coach or GM in this league you would take AD over LBJ and KD?
re: Kobe > Anthony Davis?
Posted by rjlsu985 on 12/11/14 at 9:51 am
Of course there are no 1 season leagues but that's the way I had to put it to try and get you to comprehend that if your talking about the future then of course AD would go 1st overall only because of the age factor. So I said a 1 season league because the original argument is about who's he best player right now and shame on you if you can't understand that.
re: Kobe > Anthony Davis?
Posted by rjlsu985 on 12/11/14 at 9:48 am
Although I appreciate the assist I really didn't need it if these dumb fricks would actually comprehend what the original argument was about.
