I'm not a huge fan of gov welfare, but who do you think pays for foster care, and do you think that is more or less expensive than WIC??

I mean i think the prices are on par with most fast food burgers and taste much better than most. I don't see why people constantly bitch about this place.
Is it amazing? no. is it way better than wendys and BK and McDonalds? yeah without a doubt.
Could I make a better burger myself? yeah. Could I get a better burger elsewhere? yeah

Y’all are getting arse raped by HVAC companies my lord. My house was built in 2005. I’ve replaced all 3 units I have in the past 4 years. A 2,4,5 ton systems. All in I paid around 22k for all of them excluding ductwork. I paid in cash though so I got a little of a discount
AC systems have skyrocketed over the past 4 years. especially if there is no old stock available and you have to install one of the new systems that uses propane as refridgerant

Didn't read the article, but how does a tax break make more sense than renting it out? surely the tax break doesn't come close to market commercial rent?

Last season was probably my wife's and I's favorite season ever, we liked just about every team. They were almost all nice and relatable and just seemed like genuine and likeable people, no manufactured drama.
We always make a bet, pick our final 3 and first out halfway through the first episode. I wanted the dykes to be my first out, sooo much for that :banghead:
Also the blonde influencer, holy shite her partner must be a saint, how insufferable she was.

Lasers and moving out of state
Posted by PistolPete45 on 9/23/25 at 10:32 am
My wife has worked for the state for about 3-4 years and she got a job in Fairhope, I can't see the future but I don't anticipate us moving back to Louisiana.
Does anyone know her options for that money, I tried looking on the Lasers website but I can't seem to find the answer I am looking for.

I look for the best bang for buck credit card sign up bonuses. Usually can get enough value out of 1-2 credit card signups per year to pay for a 5-7 long stay somewhere and only need to pay for food/gas. And can normally also stay in a hotel another 2-3 days using those same rewards.
With 3 young kids we don't end up flying much, most are vehicle trips.

Unless your company is paying for it, I can't think of many scenarios where is doesn't make sense to drive the truck yourself and pay movers to load and unload the truck. that's the hard part the loading/unloading!
Also a lot of things moving companies don't tell you is your stuff is at the mercy of their schedule, they can easily hold it hostage for several days and I have heard of shady companies even coming up with BS additional fees before releasing your stuff.
Also do you really want people packing your stuff too, I don't like the thought of strangers going through my personal things, maybe pocketing things they like along the way.

Damn, he is absolutely tearing it up! I hope he can take a big leap next year, he absolutely has potential to be big for us next year!
wait, I didnt notice the second line, so that last line was his most recent outing, but the top I'm guessing doesn't include has last outing?

wonder how this compares in the US only, I would expect Apple to dominate that.
Also how much of these sales in developing countries are cheaper phones with way less margin?

I mean Larson started a bunch as a freshman and Derek Curiel just was a starter for an entire year...
I'm sure Jay has a plan if both Frey/Stanfield are gone. If he was worried, I would expect him to have already been on a few OF players.

We know that, but is he there because he thinks one of Frey/Stanfield comes back? What if they don’t? Had to enter if they do, I bet he comes back if those two go pro.
I doubt that, even with both of them gone, he would still have to earn a spot between any incoming new freshman/transfers. He hasn't shown he is good enough to lock that down yet, so he is doing what he thinks best and trying to find a place where there is a clearer path to him starting, which I can't blame him.
re: Tub/Shower waterproofing system
Posted by PistolPete45 on 7/2/25 at 9:00 am to JohnDoe00
I've done standing showers, and multiple bathtub/shower combos, never had any issues with putting up hardi board, using hardi screws taping the seams with mesh tape, using this set on that and then using redguard and painting on 2 layers, can even do 3 layers.
a lot of people have been using this method for a long time and no issues, also it's much simpler than some other methods and a hell of a lot cheaper in addition.

considering it took this long, it must have been a tough decision for him and likely no bad blood. I can't blame him, Jay isn't going to guarantee him anything, so may have been in his best interest to look for an easier path to playing time.

Now obviously what did go down a good bit was Luis' power and BA from last year to this year. I think thats going go to be expected almost any time from a mid-major to major conf jump up. There's some cases though where it does stay similar or even go up though.
In the end, its always tough to predict, but I would lean more towards a guy still being successful who hit near .400 even on the this level.
But also wasn't he a very part time catcher last year and then went to basically catching 90% of our games?

i would actually disagree with that knowing how johnson is. he just doesn't make the same mistake twice. i think he saw the disadvantage it was in 23 and came up with a plan of not letting it happen again. maybe by having a deeper roster and being able to keep the majority of those guys and only having to fill a limited number of spots and saving those spots for people that you can't pass up on. he doesn't strike me as a coach who will get beat the same way twice. always prepared.
I agree in a way, like he always has a plan and I'm sure he delegated plenty of staffers on portal stuff to assist while doing prep in Omaha, but he already said they lost a player to another school because Jay couldn't meet with them until after the CWS finals.
There is just no way around it, if you are in Omaha, you are going to be at a disadvantage to other teams. Now I think we have a good enough roster and there are some good enough players in the portal we can still come out okay. But I wonder how many players we lost out these past few weeks?
Not that I'm complaining
