re: Solar Panels - Is it worth it?

I have a small solar system using four 365w panels and an EcoFlow Delta Pro power station. On sunny days I power most of my house (no 240v) using this. I also have an emergency power backup with this system if the grid goes down. Most standard solar systems don't have power if the grid goes down. All of this was about $3,000. I put the solar panels on my 10' x 12' shed. I could have made it larger if I wanted to. Ecoflow has systems that would power everything if you have the space for the solar panels. I chose my shed instead of my house due to having to get a permit if I put the solar panels on the roof of my house. On the bigger systems it even has a panel that will switch power over automatically if the grid goes down. I have my system going through a six circuit manual transfer switch.
you got a guide or youtube video you followed for this? sounds intruiguing

Not really from my childhood, but Prince of Persia Sands of Time is still an amazing game.

I couldn’t disagree more with this take. Braun was a true freshman who got plugged into 1B midseason due to team necessity, at a position he did not play in high school, despite what the uninformed Perfect Game profile readers claimed.
Though I’m not of the opinion that he was flawless, his fielding percentage would say otherwise. What I saw was someone who played the position solidly for a college level player and above average for a true freshman with very little prior experience. While I don’t think he’d be a bad OF, I also don’t think he has the overall athleticism to be an above average OF. Whereas, given an entire offseason of field work, he does have the capacity to become a consistent above-average defensive 1B, which is more about technique than raw athletic (Tre Morgan was the rare exception here).
Braun’s frame isn’t enormous but 6’0” is more than fine for college, where ability to scoop a ball out of the dirt is vastly more important than having a massive frame. If anything, I don’t see his “body type” fitting the mold of a college OF. Receiving the ball from the left side also helps (a specific play in the SECT comes to mind).
I’m willing to bet on Braun as a long term option at 1B, especially given his bat.
Agree completely, I think of all the IF spots(short of Milam coming back) Braun at 1st may be just about written down in pen.

He is such a team player, I'd love to have him around, and he is great to have as a 3rd catcher, but I'd imagine it would be hard to have a spot with all the incoming freshman

Been to Omaha 3 times, been to the zoo 3 times.
Next time I go to Omaha, I will go to the zoo.
It's the best zoo I have ever been to.

Jay is not messing around. This is certainly a different approach to last year so far. All 3 pickups will make massive impacts on next years team.
He isn't done either.
I still can't understand why anyone doubted that Jay would get us back in the hunt for #9.

Oh yeah, Nikki and Paulo were a fascinating storyline

Every other storyline at that point of the show was just way more interesting. The Eko storyline was just a total drag in comparison to everything else going on in the rest of the show.

To be fare, Chase Shores made good money.
He absolutely will get the chance to start, but if he isn’t killing it I coild see him ending up on the pen, because this years performance isn’t getting him first round money if he does it next year.
I think we should go after at least 1 sure starter and a second guy with experience.
I would expect at least 1 weekend starter to be signed and 3-4 additional guys that can provide steady consistent outings out of the pen.
This would provide a good mix from returning guys, experienced transfers and freshman.
This is exactly what I was thinking about Evans, he could be drafted high if he can replicate what he did as a freshman as a high level reliever a la Chase Shores. I really loved his role, maybe he makes the leap, but even in his best outings, he didn't get you far in a game as as starter. It would be such a luxury to have him step into the middle of a close game if we can get another starter to take his place.

I get some people just want to go with the flow and don't like stuff planned on a micro level.
However there is something to be said for initial research, finding some things that are very important to you, looking up availability and reserving it if you need to.
Like if you visited San Fran and wanted to see Alcatraz, depending on time of the year you can't show up and have availability.
New York, to go to the top of the Statue of Liberty, tickets get booked months in advance.
There are plenty of more examples if you show up, you will just be denied entry for a complete lack of planning.

I know Jay noticed that and I'm sure they will spend some more time with Cade prepping him for the rest of the tourney now that they know the mechanics of how it's going to work.
It could absolutely make a difference in a tight game.

I wish it tasted like the original honestly.
Anyone try the new 10-K yet?

I got some a few days ago. They are clear which for nostalgia purposes I don't love, but that wouldn't really bother me if it tasted like I remember.
I thought they tasted nothing like what I drank in my childhood, they are definitely more health conscious, which in and of itself isn't a bad thing. I just wanted it to taste like I remembered. Make another version maybe.
My guess is they didn't have access to any of those formulas and bought the name hoping to sell based on nostalgia and local loyalty.

I have EGO everything, I love all my other tools, even the polesaw(which I do not have the oiler issue with) I have had 4 chainsaws replaced under warranty because the oiler will quit working.
I would not recommend the chainsaw because of this.
