Seriously...

Anyone that isn't impressed by this is either a basement dweller that has never lifted in their life or such a fanboy loser that they are not capable of supporting anything not directly linked to their own teams.

600lbs is massive and I seriously can't wait until I see the video regardless of what team he plays for.
did you even watch the 1/9 game? We got shutout and only crossed the 50 ONCE! How on earth would we have earned any respect from anyone after that game?

We didn't earn much on 11/5 either since most considered it a draw or thought Bama were better. Based on 1/9 the only answer can be :spank:
Phil Steele is more a predictive end of season rank not as much of a preseason poll like the others.

Can't really argue with it anyway. LSU as a whole took a hit after the BCS game so I wouldn't expect to be #1 across the board.

Also, the actually numbers are so close with the top 5 across most polls that basically what they are saying is the title is up for grabs.

Your logic is perfect. In a world where Conferences are competitive with each other.

We could of had a BCS style SEC where #1 v #2 and we play bama for Sec title, lose both the SEC and NC.

Bama doesn't get any blame as far as I'm concerned. Football gods did some freaky stuff to teams all over the country after GoTC. Take a look back at Alabama after that game and see what had to happen to get them the rematch with us. It's one of the most insane runs of luck I've ever seen. It was a perfect storm.

And at the end of the day, I don't think anyone outside LSU/Bama would of beaten LSU or Bama. Both teams were in their own league last year.

Winning the SEC is massive.

Why on earth they would put anything other than , " SEC Champs" - "undefeated" is beyond reason. Why add stuff to a SEC Champ ring that happened after the SEC Champ game?

Who designed these things?

Gumps having a field day :(

King Tattoo. Pretty awesome.

I hope the King tat actually has a 'real' personal meaning to him. I don't like the idea he is messing with Karma like Lebron and ends up looking the fool after crowning himself king before he has any titles or rings.

There are some disturbing people here.

He can do whatever he wants. Getting a tat isn't going to make him any different on or off the field.

There is nothing wrong with people saying it's a stupid tattoo, because it is. If this thread was the OP saying " guys just got my new tat" everyone would be laughing their asses off at a stupid looking design.

Just because its TM7 doesn't mean people are attacking him and it doesn't mean everything he does is "awesome" just because it's him. He likes it and that's cool, but he probably is and will get a lot of crap thrown his way because of it.
Saban is the only answer. Where do you think we would be if we 'landed' Derek Dooley or someone instead of Saban? If we are talking about Football excellence, Saban takes the cake.

Faulk was a turning point from 'depressing' to 'hope'.. Saban turned hope into expectation and I don't ever want to go back! :geauxtigers:
I think its unfair we have to play in the SEC. :)

Seriously. Could you even picture the trail of destruction if LSU and bama did like a national tour and played no SEC games and just did beat downs all over the country. That would be an amazing year.

The SEC's OOC games are weak. However, it has more to do with fact the other conferences are not as good.

Every SEC team can't play a Top 5 OOC game. What do they want us to do?

agree that Wing gives us a major level of comfort when we need to punt the ball, but from what I am hearing from this board is that our offense will be so good that he may only see the field in clean up duty.

I read this thread as the Ten Best in 2012. Not a team effort or by unit required to win games. The best individual players on the field at their positions. It's pretty much a different version of what LSU players get drafted in first 5 rounds
Anyone that doesn't have Wing on their list is downright stupid. That guy will not only be drafted but probably one of the first 5 LSU players to be taken and i wouldn't be surprised to see him in 2nd or 3rd round.

Unless we are talking about the best people on the team that can play multiple positions there is no excuse for not having the best punter in the country and probably best in recent memory on the list.

1) JJ is NOT a kid! You are a kid at 16 - not after a college degree and 4 years of college football. People need to stop giving him a break, "cause he is just a kid".

2) The large part of ranters that like to see JJ fail in the NFL, is not because of his lack of skills. It is because of his sense of entitlement and cocky shitty attitude and horrid leadership. If you bring that type of attitude, you better live up to it which he never did. People always hate that type of person. Look at all the hate Lebron James gets for his attitude when he doesn't have a ring yet and he is without question a great player.

3) I have not seen many talk about him failing at life. A lot want to see his delusional sense of grandeur squashed by the NFL, but after that I think most are fine to see him go life a normal life and move on from football.

4) NCG - he thinks he played well.
When this happened, I honestly thought that maybe he wasn't just a cocky guy, but might really have some type of serious psychological problem.

Pretty much the only good thing about this thread was finding This...

I don't really know the rules to the game but I assume there are no penalty flags.
"Please don't have no kids"

if Mett is anything close to what we think he'll be.

This is the biggest concern for me. We just don't know how good he is. It would be pretty hard for him not to be at least a little bit better than JL & JJ, but how much better?

If he looked like Drew Brees compared to JJ, why didn't he play last year?

I just don't know where my hopes are for this season until I get to see him play. Either way, we play for SEC title again !! :geauxtigers:

It's funny when homers attack. You can only say our defense played lights out and is easily the best in the country, because anything else you say means they are the exact opposite.

You probably only watch LSU games and don't understand why all american teams are not just our starting lineup.

The only way to look at Jan 9 is that either our defense had a bit of an off night compared to the Nov 5 and the rest of the year, OR , Bama developed a top 10 offense between the end of the season and the BCS.

Maybe you should try and get into another sport outside of college football or pick up a hobby or something so when you read anything less than glowing reviews about the team it doesn't feel like someone abused your sister. :geauxtigers:

People like to say that the offense lost us the NC, but the defense didn't really come to play either and I think they get a lot more love than they should. Bama only punted 1-2 times and they have a crap offense and horrible red zone ability.

If our defense from the BCS is in the game vs Stanford, it's pretty much a shoot out. We would pwn their defense of course but they would put up big numbers on us as well. If our defense from any other game during the year turns up we win easy.
