You’re confusing NCAA and MLB rules

The amount of times you're able to get a hit vs not will never be outdated. The weight of the statistic has dropped, but average very much matters.
I don't disagree here. It still matters. My point is that it's no longer valued as it once was, so using it as a metric for the argument that the mound should be moved back doesn't really apply in my opinion. OBP/OPS are much more robust units to measure from.

I'm not sure that there's a realistic approach for dude after dude throwing 95-98mph gas + movement.
You gotta think at some point some smart fella out there will figure it out.

It's not the mound or the pitchers. It's the hitters and their approach. Pitching has advanced faster than hitters can adjust.
Batting avg as a metric is outdated and not valued like it once was.

re: Difference btw Starlink and Rev for residential use.

Starlink is great but would be more advantageous if you were in an area that didn't have great reliable internet service.
Rev is top tier. I'd go with Rev.

Do you want to pay for the convenience of not having to go to the DMV or do you want to just bitch about it?

Nobody knows. Stop looking ahead

Not everything is a conspiracy.

The CBA is very generous for the players. Player salaries account for 50% of league revenues per the agreement.
The NBA 23/24 revenue was $11.34 billion. I aint mad at em one bit.

Yes, you can transfer MLB tickets from the MLB Ballpark app to Google Wallet. To do this, open the MLB Ballpark app, find the tickets you want to add, and select "Add to Apple/Google Wallet". This will then add the ticket to your Google Wallet.
From Google.
re: Best true outdoor TV, weather proof?

"outdoor" TVs are way overpriced. Buy a cheap TCL and let it ride til it dies and replace it with another cheap TV way down the road. They're very resilient.

It's all a scam. You can qualify as a DV just for sleep apnea and needing a CPAP.
re: New York Yankees Yes Network

The only games you won't get through the Yes Network are the Fox/FS1/ESPN national broadcast games.

Eyanson has mostly better stats than Kade. They both deserve to be 1st team.

MLB.tv is $140 for the year. You need to reevaluate your 401k if that’s all you got in there.
re: Why was Kyler Murray a 1st round pick in the MLB?
Posted by Brian Wilson on 5/1/25 at 11:20 am
It was a ballsy high risk/ high reward thing. He's athletic enough to maybe work out and sell some tickets but his future was always football.
The downside is the A's don't sign him and lose the slot value $$ for that pick. The upside is they get a compensatory pick the following year, one slot after where they picked previously, in addition to their normal pick...Plus expanded draft pool $$.
You can argue it was a dumb move and a wasted pick but maybe the A's didn't see the right value in 2018 1st round and wanted a head start on 2019? It's still silly to waste the 9th overall pick though.

He grew up in Carville, LA and that is Iberville Parish brah. Nothing North LA about that. Probably would have never guessed it by his last name.
I'm not a fan of him either but at least get some facts straight before yelling at the clouds.
