DG has the best soft shell crab in La. Hands down. I refer tons of Texas friends and LSU coaches to DG and tell them to get the soft shell crab and none have been disappointed. I get it every time I go there. My daughter and I get 2 soft shell crabs and split it and it is cheaper than getting 1 crab over pasta for each of us. What a steal. Mike is one of the best restaurant owners in town and always working hard. One of our favorites!
If you need Euro's when you get there, use the ATM's with your debit or ATM card. The best exchange rate are on the ATM machines. Of course, you may pay an ATM fee (depending upon your bank). Always use credit cards that waive foreign transaction fees. That is the best market exchange rate. Avoid airport exchange booths. Worst exchange rates. You can probably get by with 200 Euro's or less in your wallet.
re: Heading to Montage at Big Sky this Friday and snow is in forecast! Clothing suggestions

We were there last year about this time and it snowed 8 inches on June 22. It didn't really stick though. We had our fishing trip cancelled that day, but we went the next day. We rafted on June 24 in shorts and t-shirts and swam in the river. The snow didn't stick around except in the very high elevations and it did mess up some of our hikes as we neared the top of the trail. We still wore shorts and short sleeve shirts most of the week. I brought a very light jacket and rarely wore it.
Wow, if you have think he has a problem closing, you obviously have never played golf. He closed great yesterday. Clark just made a better putt on #16. In fact, after Clark hooked his drive on 16, no one thought he would make birdie, but he did. That wasn't same not closing. That was Clark playing better. Sam did miss 3 makable putts down the stretch, but the percentage of makes (among PGA golfers) on those putts (except on Hole 15) was less than 25%. Kim had the same putt as Sam on 17 a few groups later and hit the same exact same putt. Clark had a similar putt on 17 (from a shorter distrance) and missed it on the left. This course was unreal and TV coverage cannot show you how severe the slopes and undulations were.
I stand by my previous comments. Sam is one of the best players on the Tour right now (look at how he played in the Masters and now the Open) and, if you listened to the broadcast team, everyone one of them wants Sam playing on their Ryder Cup team (which is a hugh compliment).

What an arse. We don’t need your comments. You must be a UGA fan.
Am I allowed to say that Sam is still playing well? Here's hoping he has a good weekend.

3 back after Day 1. Why do you care? I love following a fellow Tiger. Sorry you don't care. If you don't care, why do you post on a golf forum on TigerDroppings, a LSU board?

This is a thread about Sam's play in the US Open. I even said in the title of my thread that it is "Very Early." Every golfer knows this is a 4 round tournament.
I follow Sam because he is LSU and from Louisiana and this is an LSU board. I like Sam. If you don't like Sam or my posts, don't read the post.

Sam off to a good start (that makes it 3 weeks in a row for a good start). He is playing really well over the last 3 weeks.

Sorry, when I replied up above, I didn't see the food posts and pictures for some reason. I just saw them now. Looks like a great trip. Glad you had a memorable trip. TFL is an experience of a lifetime. You ate and drank well. Well done!

Great trip, commentary and photos. Glad you had fun. No information on TFL though. Thoughts on it?

Can't wait to hear what you enjoyed. Glad you had a good time! One of my favorite places on earth.
Heard Sorsby made a prop bet that he would go to the NFL and not stay in college this year. I guess he won another bet. Good for him. Screw Vegas!
Wine was for myself and my wife.

2024 Fantesca King Richards Reserve Pinot Noir paired with our favorite brined chargrilled Center Cut Pork Chop topped with peach BBQ salsa from 2012 Southern Living magazine. Grilled corn in the husks. My wife makes the peach bbq salsa and I cook the chops. One of our favorite meals. It was a great work day in the yard and a great supper to finish off the day. Just let me know if you want our recipe. Happy to share. We make a great team. LIG, LTD. Cheers!

Sam Burn's playing well at the Memorial Tournament - currently -6 total
Posted by WacoTiger on 6/5/26 at 1:58 pm
Sam Burns shot -3 yesterday and currently -3 today, for a total of -6. In 3rd place thru the first 9 holes today.
3 months ago I played Osprey Point, Cougar Point and the Ocean Course. I would rank those courses in this order: (1) the Ocean Course; (2) Cougar Point and (3) Osprey Point. All 3 were good course, but different. Ocean is more along the coast. Cougar is more of a subdivision Country Club inlet course and Osprey Point is very tight and lots of hazards. It all depends upon your preference and your golf game. I don't think you can go wrong with any of those courses.

I predict, with this Super Regionals lineup, that Georgia wins it all.
WTF - Florida Gators baseball?
Posted by WacoTiger on 6/1/26 at 7:01 pm
If Troy upsets FLA, will it go down as one of the greatest baseball upsets of all time? FLA at home, Troy going thru the loser's bracket. Beats Miami. Can they hold on to beat FLA from the bottom of the 6th inning?
That is why college baseball is a crazy sport. FLA could score 7 runs in 4 more at bats, but Troy has scored scored 5 runs, 15 runs, 9 runs and 16 runs in their 4 games. Troy has an 0-5 pitcher on the mound now. This is just wild.

Golf team made a great run, but it looks like they will finish a little short. Maybe just ran out of gas. 4 - 5 holes remaining and 7 shots back.
2 double bogeys on counting scores on #1 is a hugh downer.
