re: Coaches Reception - CCL

I will be there.
I think I am going to pass tonight. More rain to the west (that may die before it gets to A&M), but it is just too late for the game and then drive back by myself after the game. If the game is delayed beyond 8 p.m., it won't end until around midnight and I wouldn't get home until 1:30 a.m.

I will be there Saturday and Sunday. Weather should be great for the rest of the weekend. Thanks for your comments (most of you). I need to think safe before sanity.
Sorry, I was responding to the OP, not your post. My bad.
I have 2 tickets to each of the baseball games in College Station this weekend. I told my brother from Houston that he probably shouldn't waste his time tonight and stay home. It is an hour and a half drive from my house in Waco to Blue Bell Park. Weather is about to get bad in Waco, but we are 85 miles north of A&M. My radar currently shows storms approaching College Station from the east and south.

Game time is 6 p.m. I plan on driving back and forth each day for the games, because I hate staying at the hotels in College Station.

Dilemma - what time should I leave Waco this afternoon? I was planning on 4 pm. I keep thinking that A&M will cancel the game before I leave and have a doubleheader tomorrow, saving me a trip tonight. Should I risk it and start driving at 4 p.m. and just turn around if the game is cancelled? My fear is that around 5:30 p.m. it will read "weather delay" meaning they could play later tonight. If I am already in College Station, I would hang around. I don't want to miss the game if we play tonight. I am 64 yrs old and driving by myself. If I make it to A&M and they cancel the game, all is not lost, other than driving home in the rain. If I make it to A&M and it reads weather delay, I will stay until 10 p.m. to see if they start the game tonight, then drive home afterwards.

What would you do?
LSU WBB just missed out on this player. LSU will still have a great portal class, but this could have made them really good.

I agree that Tenn has been dominated by every good pitcher they have faced this year. Anderson is no exception.

First baseball game that you have watched? LSU has had 2 base runners. This is not a perfect game. No hitter, yes. Perfect, no.
The regular radar that I watch shows no further chance of rain tonight in BR. Acuweather is wrong!
They must have seen my post. Rob Robin would be proud!
According to radar, rain is going north to south, not west to east. I am not a weatherman, but I play one on TV. In addition, the ski will calm now that it is evening and the heat is relaxing, so I don't see any more rain tonight. Let's play ball. (I grew up on Rob Robin in Lake Charles at KPLC-TV and he was the best weatherman in the business. A little gay in attitude, but he knew his weather).
NIL budget it having an effect on the quality of the posters on the Rant. About 87.5% of the posters just make up facts and statistics and post them as the first thought in their head and then assume no one will challenge that the statistics are just totally made up. We need to get rid of NIL so those stupid posters will stop posting on the Rant.

Looks like LSU will finish stroke play in 2nd place. Match play starts tomorrow with LSU the 2nd seed. Tope 8 teams from stroke play advance to tomorrow's match play round. LSU had 4 golfers finish in the top 13, but Auburn had 4 finish in the top 11. Freshman Jay Mendall finished in a tie for 3rd in stroke play. Should be fun watching match play tomorrow. Geaux Tigers.
Chicken,

Actually, the top 8 teams move on to match play after Day 3. Today was the second round and tomorrow will be the 3rd round of stroke play. LSU was in 2nd after the 1st day and is now in 1st place after the 2nd day of play.
I would highly recommend L’Alexandrin in Lyon. Chef Laurent Rigal is the chef and it has had a 1 Michelin Star for several years. We ate there in 2017 and the crowd was light. Chef sat at our table, gave us a tour of the kitchen and we enjoyed dessert with his wife. He spoke broken English and we spoke broken French. One of our favorite meals in France in an 18 day journey. At the time, Lauren was one of the top young chefs in Lyon.

If you want to see our blog from 2017, here is a link: French Countryside 2017 Blog Go to Day 11 for photos of our meal. The wine, service and food were outstanding. Our hotel concierge referred us to this restaurant. Great find. We stayed at Hotel Globe Et Cecil and it was a great location (near fantastic shopping for my wife). It was affordable, great hotel and a great location.

Lyon has the best chefs in France (better than Paris in my opinion). "À votre santé et bon appétit!" Cheers and enjoy.
He keeps replying to his own post to push it to the top. Why help him?

Did Jay F your wife? Why are you such a poor LSU fan and why do you post on this board? I just looked at your last 10 posts. You are a miserable person and should be banned.
