Nice weather.. great game to make a family day of it.. wake up and have a brunch .. get some coffee and walk the campus and wander into the stadium.. enjoy some light food.. game over early and take the kids to visit Mike and grab a taco or something on campus..
This game can not be more family friendly..
Yep. We'll go, have a good time and enjoy the nice weather. The stadium won't be full, but I think you'll see a lot of families that may have otherwise been priced out of more expensive games.
In 2021, we were 3-3 coming off a beatdown at Kentucky, and had an 11am kickoff against Florida. I think this board predicted an empty stadium, but there was a really nice crowd on a pretty day. I expect the same

BTR flies in and out of E20ish-30ish, so yeah, good fricking fun when you're trying to catch a tight connection and have a 25min walk or 15min run ahead of you
Plus, if you land on the furthest runway, it can be another 30+ minutes just to taxi to the gate! CLT sucks

Saban would be the AD, no way he is coaching again.
This is what I heard; but it’s contingent on who is selected as the new president.
One of the finalists is from Bama, and that’s who Saban wants to work with.
But Landry wants the McNeese guy.
Plus, Nick’s old Highland Road home is on the market, so the wheels are in motion!
I know that expectations for our football program are elevated because of our success and money spent, but I miss the days when Tiger Stadium would have been jam packed and electric for this type of game: top 25 game, with LSU as a rare home underdog. Place would have been wild, rain or shine
Kinchen's big punt return was also a huge play
Punt Return
I was in the student section, and the place was electric. Hope we can recreate some of this atmosphere on Saturday.

I don’t know when or how things got like this. But it’s quite sad to see.
This is the first season I’ve really noticed it. We park east of Highland Road and walk through there on the way to the stadium. The Highland Road corridor is completely overrun with ghetto from south of the Union to the Chimes.
Now it’s several shootings in back to back home games.
If the people in charge of the University and athletic department don’t think this is a problem, they shouldn’t be in charge.
I don’t think we’ll be attending any more games until they clean this up.

I think for LSU, it will be Ole Miss, Texas A&M, and Arkansas.
This is my prediction as well.
I assume that Bama will get Tennessee and Auburn, so the SEC wouldn’t want to pair us up as their 3rd permanent opponent.
And the SEC really wants to make LSU/Arkansas a rivalry, even though we don’t really care about the Hogs. I would prefer getting Auburn back as a permanent opponent. That has been one of the league’s most entertaining series since we started playing them yearly in the early 90’s
These people on the left are fricking unhinged lunatics, brainwashed by the msm.
Yep, it was attached to the laundromat. When I lived in Hatcher Hall, that’s where residents could go wash clothes and grab some snacks (late 1980’s)

McMakin was the PA announcer for men's basketball last season and, frankly, did fine
Didn’t realize he was the PA announcer at the men’s games last year. I remember thinking he was much better than the screaming hyena roaming around the PMAC with the wireless mic; glad that dude didn’t get the job.
re: LSU basketball released it’s 2025-26 non-conference schedule

Our pre-conference schedule has been crap for a long time. It's hard to build any interest in the program with so many shitty early season games.
I miss the old days of scheduling home-and-homes with name-brand basketball schools from the ACC, Big East, etc.
Granted, at our current level, we'd probably get stomped. But I'd rather 7,000 energized fans show up in the PMAC to watch LSU play Virginia in December than suffer through a Prairie View pounding in front of 1,500 seat-fillers.

Fresh batteries in the remote control would be a nice start
re: anybody have an update on Dan Borne'?

he’s been dealing with some long term health issues that have kept him away from calling games for LSU.
Bill Franques did a solid job filling in for football, but Dan was still sorely missed in Tiger Stadium.
Basketball was just awful without him, but some of that could be contributed to the product on the court!

They were supposed to play in New Orleans last year
Had tickets and was really looking forward to that show. His wife documented their subsequent cancer journey over the next year on instagram. He was unbelievably strong, positive, brave and uplifting in the face of a grim diagnosis. RIP, Mike.
re: LSU Basketball… big game @Kentucky tonight. Who’s hyped?!

I’m excited. I plan on taking a shot every time the Kentucky Mardi Gras Miracle comeback is referenced and highlighted during the broadcast. Should be passed out before our inevitable 2nd half collapse

He is definitely one of those types who seems to believe that he should be part of the show, but really isn't
He’s unbearable on the roaming mic at the men’s games. Makes my ears bleed.
Is Dan Borne finished at LSU? He’s been sorely missed

I feel they then used their state sponsored media to hyper sensationalize the effects as to justify the power grab and unconstitutional acts become normalized under the cloak of safety.
In early 2020, before the lockdowns, I remember the U.S. national news showing footage of Chinese citizens dead in the streets after supposedly succumbing to Covid. Basically creating hysteria here before it made it into the US. But after it’s arrival, we never saw anything like that here, even with such a large homeless population.
Such a scam; the mainstream media are vile, lying garbage.

Livvy could fit in Shaq’s shoe, which would make for an awesome parade float

Wonder if these high school weather kids would do this during an LSU game?
