Could be an incredible miniseries

Looks like we'll have to settle for film. Just finished the second book.

One Second After
CD players in new vehicles. Just another reason I'll never get rid of my 2019 Tundra.

From IMDB

"Gritty crime drama set in a corrupt decaying city near the Canada-U.S. border about the leader of a vicious new gang called the EZs, a dedicated cop who's struggling to stop him, and an ex-con forced to work for the gangster."

I don't know of any other actor with a tic like that.

I'm thru 3 episodes and I already notice it.
Looks interesting and want to give it a shot. I'm sure quite a few have seen it and curious of others thoughts and opinions of the series. TIA.

I read it over the summer. It was better than I had hoped (& I had high expectations because I enjoy the musical and film)

On a side note (if you have seen the musical or movie), in the book the Thénardiers are pure evil but for some reason they are made out to be a comic element in the film and stage play. Disconcerting.

And yes, the Waterloo section is fantastic. Ordered this because of it.

After watching the series I had to read the book. Excellent to put in mildly.

Insane Guiteau shot Garfiled. Dr. Bliss killed Garfield. The unreal hubris of that "physician" was infuriating.

The historical account delved more into Alexander Graham Bell's work to try to locate the bullet and save Garfield. Millard also tells more of the love & heartbreak that the country, his friends and staff have for their fallen President. Garfield's personality resonates more in the book, understandably so. Shannon was perfect for the role, as were the other supporitng actors.

Highly recommend for anyone who enjoyed the series.
Warfare should be on the film list. Glad to see Train Dreams on it.

Thx for that, needed something simple and not a budget buster.

If you have a big medical bill, just pay them like $25 a month. They will threaten and pitch a fit but if you are making some kind of payment they never do shite

I have a friend that had a surgery almost a decade ago and after insurance “pitching in” he owed $40,000.

He has paid $50 a month for almost a decade and even though they call and threaten him every other month, nothing has ever happened

Best movie I've seen in 25 though.

This and Warfare for me.
