If we got this kid, would Les shut down our O when we crossed our opponents 45 and play for the FG from the 50 every time?

Thanks Phil. Finally a rational argument. I want the team to win. I think the only limiting factor for the Tigers is the sub-par offense that we have seen for years. I don't think it impossible for a team to have a great D and a great O at the same time. From my perspective, Miles appears not to be pursuing offensive excellence in the same manner as he pursued defensive excellence. I don't know how to fix the problems on O. I admit that. Unfortunately, by continuing to do the same things year after year, I fear Les does not either.

Sorry it took so long to respond. Mouton scared me so much I had to suck my thumb in a corner. After that I had to change my tampon. Actually,Mouton, you come across as the Internet tough guy with nothing to back it up. You started the personal attacks because, like some politicians, you have no legit argument. My point all along is that we should not be satisfied with the shitty O and that no one should tell another how to express themselves. You may not like booing. Others may.

Disagree. Boo if you want to. You paid for the ticket.

Because I don't think Less will change a thing unless he has to in order to save himself. He is too stubborn. What I really want is some sign he is working to solve the O debacle

Or, better yet, maybe I can be blind like you and learn to love a less than mediocre offense year after year.

It is not the loss. It is the manner of the loss and continuing regression of the O. How else do we pressure the Empty Hat to address the problems on O? Something needs to be done or he will be satisfied with the status quo. Simply saying we need to run better and pass better is not enough.

If we had an offense we could have added National Champs to last year's resume. O looks worse this year against inferior opponents.

I would love top recruits to come. Player talent is how we have been so successful. I want some accountability and evidence of tangible action from Les Points to right this offensive ship. Otherwise, good offensive recruits will look elsewhere of their own accord, booing or no booing. As for recent success, I'm not sure what you are talking about. Towson?

Bullcrap. Boo your arse off if the product on the field sucks. It is called accountability. I will take $4,000,000 to let someone yell at me.

I believe you that the players want to win this one, just like Florida, but fear that the O coaches don't know how to put them in the best position to win. If we win, I think once again it will be player talent that carries the day and not some creative coaching scheme.

The Empty Hat's O is not helping either.
re: What will LSU have more of tomorrow? Drops, sacks, or penalties?

Penalties first, sacks second and drops third.

re: For those of you who want a new oc

Why??? Watch how many points and yards La. Tech puts up on A&M and compare it to our production. If this O doesn't magically reinvent itself, I bet Tech. doubles our O output. That should not be the case unless Tech.'s players or coaches are superior. Maybe Jindal can order that both teams switch offensive players and coaches for the remainder of the season.

Who cares? We don't use TE's.
re: At this point, what record would prove to you that Les did a great job?

A good Offensive Coordinator hire whom he lets run the O much like the Chief runs the D.

Dick,
It is not just the loss. It is the crappy offensive play for most of the year, especially that turd in the punch bowl performance against Towson. Many, including me, have no confidence that even if we were healthy that the Empty Hat and his O coordinator (whomever that is) knows how to utilize his players' talents on offense.
