Even though this is my first post on this forum, I have been reading this site for some time now... And now that my training wheels have come off, there is something that has become more and more evident as this year has come to a close.

Despite the extreme, and passionate fan bases from both LSU and Alabama, there has always been an underlying respect for one another. It seems as if (for the time being) our programs have adopted the same mold for our football programs:
1.The style of offense (hard nose, running the football with a game manager at quaterback)
2.Powerhouse defense (very opporotunistic, ultra athletic and fast)
3. Coaches (both have given the NFL a shot, but realized that developing talent is more of their forte)
4. Recruiting (Saban is a beast and Miles is very commendable)

The point to this ramble: Even though it really sucked losing to Alabama in the National Championship.... *Big Deep Breathe*
I can honestly say that just about everyone I talked to wasn't shocked because we all knew if there was going to be a team that could beat us this year, it was going to be Alabama. Why do you think we wanted Ok State & Stanford so bad lol

So here's to a kick Azz season. SEC will do it again next year!
