Food and drink on the pricey end, never a bad idea to pick up some booze I did the same a few times. There's a fridge in the room. It's a small enough resort that I'm sure it's frowned upon to bring a whole ice chest down there and not order from the bartenders but I had a few when I came down from the room.
Great resort, beach, and pool. There will be plenty of kids there, although I haven't been yet with kids personally. Depending on age of baby, there's a splash park to the side. Probably will not want to walk to much with a baby as it's just outside of being for an easy walk to the neighboring resorts, although my wife was pregnant when we went which might've limited us. Taxis were easy from resort, and restaurants should be able to arrange for one home, although not sure how comfortable you feel about taxi with a baby. Restaurants at resort are all great to keep things easy, didn't have a single bad meal at any of the spots. There's a happy hour in lobby for some free beer/wine every night. The cocktail bar is very nice as well although not sure if it'll apply.
Southwest has been seasonal as of late, and only on Sat/Sun. Spirit is year-round as far as I'm aware. I generally try to plan to take one SW and one Spirit to limit my Spirit flights, although I've had no issues with Spirit thus far (and SW seems set on self-sabotage).
Hyatt is no-brainer best hotel status there is
You have to manually "change" to your exact same flight, but it takes about a minute. You can occasionally check and/or set a Google flights alert which will email you if it drops

I've never had an issue with the boarding process. It's the wheelchair thing, and the families of 25 that get to board after group A is called that get to me. Hopefully this change will help with those situations

Then do something about the wheelchair policy instead of overhauling your entire airline in a clear money grab. But at the end of the day, who cares if you're in row 2 vs row 8? I get extenuating circumstances like short connection and of course being in the very back sucks, but neither of those are caused by wheelchairs.
I'm genuinely confused at what you're complaining about. It's not that anyone thinks it's inappropriate. It's that no one thinks its entertaining. It's done ~4x a game and no longer fun or original since every college and pro team have done the same celebration for 5 or so years. Why do you want to see it?

So they're essentially introducing a basic economy but with the free checked bags

This has always been my concern as well. Will increase cost without benefit. I've never understood the hate towards SW boarding process other than it being different, but glad people now get the opportunity to pay extra to sit in the same coach seat they used to sit in for free anywhere before C30 under the old process.

Used to do eSim but int'l is generally $10/day and wifi is so prevalent that it's generally not even worth the couple bucks savings for the small inconvenience. I just leave on airplane mode and connect to wifi in hotel and occasionally at lunch unless I really need it. You can download maps on Google Maps beforehand. Obviously it depends on how much you actually need service second to second for your trip.
Exchange the sponsors Draftkings & Fanduel with 1800 flowers and Coors Light and the shows are the same awful bullshite they were 10 years ago.

Say all you want about gambling but internet/smartphones have 20x more to do with ruining sports talk than gambling has because the only way to be relevant now is to be a hot take artist.
You still can't pick between every combination of games which sucks and it can be hard to find exactly which combo you want. ESPN app's split screen is easier to use but obviously only limited to games on their networks. Wish they'd allow for split screen on browser so I can watch at work now that I'm spoiled.

You can just load to your amazon balance is easy way from home. Most big stores like Costco, Target, Walmart and a lot of grocery stores will autodrain for whatever the amount on the card is and you can pay the balance.
Wondering if it might be more convenient for a lot of luggage, strollers, car seats etc with small kids to not have to walk from long term to check in gate.
You booked a booker and you don't know what the booker you booked is going to book so you asked Tigerdroppings? Instead of the booker?
Capital One Venture X is the best standard CC IMO and you can upgrade it to that without a credit pull. But I'd wait until loan is final and just get a new card then so you get the sign up bonus, unless you have a specific trip to rush the upgrade for. Hit the sign up bonus and apply for a new card. Rinse and repeat and never pay for travel again.
Damn didn't know that about MSY, would've been gamechanger. Adding more Caribbean flights that aren't flying the wrong direction to connect from NOLA is still a positive, though.
Every airline is obviously different, and they'll all have an explanation of all of the above on their website usually at the search page.
It's generally regarded as a white whale amazing resort in the travel/points community. Another free trip is an amazing deal.
