Am I missing something with that tweet? Him saying that the next coach should be a strong leader that will hold everybody accountable is somehow controversial and a criticism of Rodgers? Weak
Panthers and Falcons losing was great, but i was rooting for Tampa. They aren't making the playoffs anyway so every win knocks them just a little further down the draft board.
Every election cycle they push just a little further to see what they can get away with. I fully expect them to push it even further for the 2020 elections. It will all be justified in the name of getting Trump out of the WH by any means necessary.

In their eyes he is illegitimate anyway, any action to oppose him is fair game, election laws be damned.

Well, that's just not true. Show me one thread on any of those forums where there are multiple non troll posts supporting that idiot.

I'll wait.........

   There is a big difference between tough questions and gotcha statements phrased in the form of a question. Those press conferences are there for the White House/President to provide answers to actual questions. Hurling out random political talking points that require no real response is a waste of everyone's time

I thought the whole point of her outburst was to convince just ONE Goliath to flip to their side.

But instead, all the other David's unanimously decided they were voting for her before tribal? Bizarre.

Gabby, Christian, and Nick were all willing to vote out 2 Davids in the 1st 2 post merge boots to keep their 6 person Strike-force alliance with Allison, Mike, and Alec a secret for as long as possible. That meant that 2 of Carl, Davie, and Elizabeth were going to have to be sacrificed early regardless. With Carl and Davie pretty deadset on targeting Elizabeth on their own accord, Elizabeth was screwed the moment she lost immunity. I feel like Gabby's tearful defense of Elizabeth at Tribal was bit of a dog and pony show to protect her new alliance.

Look for Carl or Davie to be the Target next week for that 6 person alliance. Angelina will have major questions as to why her fellow Goliaths want to target either one of those 2 over Christian .

WTF was Frost thinking with that bluff? What a waste of a time out. No way would OSU bite on a hard count there.

The NU QB didn't even sell it well. He checked to the sideline 3 times. Should have just punted straight up

At fault accident question

Posted by Wolf on 11/1/18 at 9:58 am
I know that in Louisiana if you rear end someone you are at fault, but I had a near miss this morning that raised a question.

I was on my way to work driving the speed limit (45) and there was no one in front of me. Some idiot was at the edge of his driveway waiting to pull out onto the road. I was the only other car on that stretch of road so I didn't think he'd be dumb enough to not wait for me to pass. He peels out and shoots out onto the road about 2 seconds before I pass his driveway. I went into the left lane and almost went into the ditch to avoid his stupid arse.

If I had rear ended him I'm pretty sure he would would have been at fault and not me, but I'm not 100% on that. Who would have been at fault?

She's probably cooperating with the prosecution and got a deal to get off free.

Also because she wasn't the one driving the car and seemed genuinely shocked and dismayed when it became clear he was actually trying to run them over. 100% she thought he was just going to buzz them and scare the shite out of them.

Besides, she witnessed a crime and cooperated with the police. What could they have charged her with?

She does need to choose her friends more wisely though. That dude is a POS and doesn't reflect we on her judgment of character

He won’t be traded. He’s a decent NFL QB. He’s also a complete idiot. He’s also 24 years old. Drew Brees was still a Charger at 24 years old. Too early to give up on Winston.

Why do we give a shite about pain for the inmate on death row?

For this particular death row inmate I have no concern. For any that might be innocent, I have a great deal of concern. It's bad enough that their lives are being unfairly taken away. I see no reason to torture them as we do it.

Unfortunately we have no foolproof way of separating innocence from guilt 100% of the time. As a result we have no choice but to trust the legal system to get it right. And as with any Government venture mistakes will happen. That is why even prisoners who are accused of the most heinous crimes still have rights. To protect those who get who get screwed by the system as best as is possible (supposedly anyway)
This happened back in August. Hell, I think we even had a topic about it when it happened.

God Friended Me - Sept. 30, From Steven Lilien and Bryan Wynbrandt’s shared resume as writer-producers — “Gotham,” “Hawaii Five-0,” “CSI: NY” — you wouldn’t expect them to create a feel-good fantasy-mystery about an atheist podcaster who starts getting friend requests from God. (Does God check in from heaven? So many questions.) But here it is, starring Brandon Micheal Hall of “The Mayor” and blessed with Joe Morton as the unbeliever’s pastor father.

This is a much better show than it deserves to be for such a terrible concept. I still think it has a limited lifepan, but i like the cast and the show hits the emotional notes very well. They just need to drop the main charcacter's freind's relationship storyline. Everytime they focus on that it's just cringe city.

The 1st South Park episode in years that I stopped watching midway through and didn't finish later. None of the jokes were landing for me. Just a dud of an episode.

The other 3 were great though. Last night's was a classic.
How Thomas Edison bankrupted the first master filmmaker

quote:

In 1902, the Frenchman George Melies made A Trip to the Moon, a classic regarded as the first science fiction film. Unfortunately for him, Thomas Edison got his hands on a print of it and pirated it until Melies could barely make any money from it in America. Later in life, a bitter and broke Melies decided to burn his hundreds of films

frick that dude. This is just one of the many stories of him stealing other people's intellectual properties.
