Exactly my thought. If your user name is redmanchew and you admittedly drive a Prius, you should ask for a screen name change immediately.

May put that 55 Stiff in it and just go change grips at the local shop.

Thanks.

Noted……

I was looking at going with a Tensei 55 stiff shaft or Denali 60 stiff.

Buddy of mine actually has the Triple Diamond he will sell me right now but those shaft options are what he has available. He is a golf club whore who has the TM, Smoke, and Titleist and he’s sticking with the Titleist and selling the other two.

My driver swing speed is on average 102-105, thinking of getting the 55 stiff and doing that. Want a little lighter option. He has a 60 X-Stiff he can put in, but I don’t think I need to be swinging an X-Stiff at my speed. Although a buddy had one in a paradigm and I smoked it.

Figured I would ask this in here instead of starting my own thread.

Looking at splurging on a new driver. I currently hit a Calloway Rouge Max LS.

Ball flight is mostly a fade and sometimes straight. I spin the ball a lot which kills my distance.

If money wasn’t an option…..what would be your choice driver for my spin and ball flight.

I’m looking at the Callaway Smoke or TM Qi10…..I’ve hit all on a sim but never really get a true feel until on course. I’m open to suggestions and I’m not a brand whore. Just want distance and low spin.

Thanks for the advice.

One more question in regards to Ross Bridge. What tees would you all play? Handicap situation for our group - I’m a 6 and the next best is around a 9.5-10 and then it gets worst. There are 8 of us. Last time I played it, we played from the second set and it was brutal. It was 50 degrees and windy and rainy. But still long as hell. I looked at my handicap in comparison to the tees and it said from the third tees I would be a 6 at Ross Bridge, so I told our group that we were playing the third tees. Sound right?

Anyone do the par 3 course at Oxmoor? Wasn’t sure if it was something we could just hop on after our round Saturday and gamble with 8 guys and drink cold beer and have fun.

Anyone played Ross Bridge, Oxmoor Valley (Ridge & Valley courses) recently? Have a group of 8 coming in next Thursday for a round at each course for a Father’s Day trip. Any course condition updates? Hopefully the weather cooperates as we all need a few days away for great golf and even better drinks!
The officer was a family member of Wyndham Clark. Clark was tired of getting his arse kicked by Scottie every time out.
Can’t wait for tomorrow when we all have to be together after our family thanksgiving meals.

They should be good and sauced up. To make it clear, I haven’t stayed up until 2:45am since college until the other night. It’s a rare occasion for me to be awake past midnight.

My buddy probably won’t show up, but in our group text with all the couples that live in the neighborhood, I’ve been keeping it going so everyone knows to come for drinks and football after family meals.
My wife (no pics) has to work 7 days in a row so we did Thanksgiving this past weekend (dinner on Saturday nights) with her mom/dad and my mom. Everyone shows up on Friday and I grill burgers. I had just come off the golf course after 16 beers. My buddy (lives down the road) and his cousin come eat with us. Buddies ole lady (no pics) is at a cheer competition with his kids in BR so he has the house to himself. We are shite housed around 9pm and he suggests we go to his house that is kid and family free. I’m of course immediately available to go (I get to leave the house with my in-laws, mother, wife, and 3 kids) and go cut up for a bit (my mom chewed me out as I drunkenly smiled and walked out the door (she was pissed because I left her there to deal with the in-laws and kids) . My buddies house looked like a 80s frat house about two hours later. People just showing up randomly to drink and eat whatever we could put on his grill. We started a pool tournament and at one point I looked up and it was 2:30 in the morning. Told another neighbor that we needed to head home. I get home without incident. The next day I find out that my buddy stayed up until 6am then headed out around 10am Saturday and kept going. Only thing is, his wife has cameras all over the house (exterior) and knew we turned his house into a frat house the night before. Well his wife came home early (Saturday night) and he got home at 9:30 and proceeded to get boxed upside the head by his wife that night. He ended up sleeping upstairs at my house Sunday and
Monday and refuses to speak to his wife. Can’t wait for tomorrow (thanksgiving) because we all hang out together as a neighborhood after thanksgiving and drink and hang out watching football. Should be good for at least one more arse kicking for my buddy. Stay tuned…….yes we are in Mississippi, transplant from Louisiana.
IMO - Sounds like he was pushing Traylor for the job.
I know you are a regular caller on that penis with ears, Paul Finebaum’s show. I feel bad for people like you. I hope for the sake of the American gene pool that you are not married and do not have any children. Just admit you’re doing this stuff to get a rise out of everyone and that it’s a big joke or just stop posting on this board all together.
For the love of God, please Admins ban drunk folks from posting. Rambling on about his crap team for 3 drunken hours. He says moonshine, but it had to have been mixed with a crap ton of meth.

Hope someone scoots down one seat so we can all sit together and enjoy the win

Reservation at Tibby’s Saturday, may have to change it because it seems like it’s not going to be the best place for Tigers. Sunday is my 40th!!!

Thanks for the information. We are 3.6 miles from the stadium. Ever been to Rock Pit Brewing? It’s walking distance so didn’t know it we could hang there all day Saturday.

Also don’t mind ubering to an area that has bars and such where you can walk around and bar hop all day and watch football.

I’m at an Airbnb on Center Street. How close are we to a bar with college football and cold beer on Saturday for opening weekend??
