We use pigskinfantasyu.com. It's a different type of fantasy game where you draft full teams instead of individual players. Free to play.

Are you frying a turkey? Try this: in a sautée pan, melt a stick of butter with a 2 oz bottle of onion juice, 2 oz bottle of garlic juice, small bottle (2 or 4 oz, can't remember) of liquid crab/shrimp boil, a few shakes of worchestershire sauce, and some good creole seasoning like tony's or slap ya mamma. Bring to a low boil for a few minutes. Let it cool and inject away. Never fails.
re: Where to stay for Cotton Bowl

Where to stay - support the local alumni chapter and book where the deals have been made. More info here. Also some great information on pre-game festivities.
Where to go out:
* West End is DEAD. Avoid at all costs.
* Deep Ellum reminds me of Chimes St. with their non-conforming, "rough around the edges", COOL bars. Good bands. Cheap drinks.
* Lower Greenville still has some cool places, but parking is a beeotch.
* Uptown has some decent sports bars (MAT, Frankie's, Christie's), but overall it's overrun w/ d'bags.
* Downtown, although mostly a dead nightlife, still has some "upscale" bars but they're full of $30k millionaires, guys that tan all day, run up their credit card bills all night, and drive cars that are 5x their worth. Iron Cactus is one exception, IMO.
With all that being said, I'd lean toward a d'bag free bar in Uptown or a Chimes Street-like bar in Deep Ellum. Hope this helps ya bud.

Nice touch LSUpimp. Couldn't agree more. That dude pitched one helluva game and he beat us. Game over.
Now we have to keep our chins up and fight like hell today. I want another shot at UCLA.

Gotta do Jake's Hamburgers in Uptown. My personal favorite burger in Dallas. Follow it up with an ice cold Abita at Gingerman.

Of that website where you can buy the option to buy bowl game tickets? It's the one lots of Ranters used back in '07 for the NC. You basically pick the team and the bowl you think that team goes to... Thanks.

Venture off the Strip and go to Firefly, just north of Hard Rock on Paradise next to Ruth's Chris. The best tapas restaurant I've ever been to (anywhere), and their white sangria is a MUST.
