Obviously teams game planned against him and our options with him may have been limited.
Now we’ve had an entire offseason to figure out different ways to utilize him.
Offenses will have to spend time pre-snap figuring out where he is.

Jayden Daniels will be game MVP because he’ll run in 2 TDs and throw for 3 TDs.
However, I think Mason Taylor will be his top target in this matchup and will end up with a big stat line. FSU won’t have anyone to match up on him - if they try a LB good luck.

He can have a huge impact on this game. I’m hoping he causes problems for the FSU o-line. Have to win the line of scrimmage.

Defensive back play is very dependent on communication, chemistry, confidence, swagger.
If you’re thinking too much you’ll be a step slow. If your assignment or communication isn’t clear you’ll be lost.
These are things we won’t know until we see this group on the field.
I’m concerned because we have new faces together but I feel good because we have a team captain DB and lots of individual game experience for the starters.

He’ll be lined up in different locations and have different responsibilities each play. Optimize his versatility. Then on obvious passing downs watch out cuz he’s comin.

I don’t think any will get double digit carries but I predict Diggs will make the most of his opportunities and make a name for himself.
Diggs - 6 carries for 54 yards and 1 TD, 2 catches for 20 yards
