re: Who would your rather play at the rec?

I actually saw Kwon A. not too long ago just start passing the ball to his teammates because he was getting to the basket way too easy.

I would much rather play flag football against the baseball team. I have seen too many football players dominate on the basketball courts at the rec to have any desire of trying to compete with them.
re: LSU could have a record 12 players Drafted

Not a chance Shep gets drafted. When will people realize that he is no more athletic than any other average college receiver? The problem is that his hands and route running are worse than the average college receiver. He ran a 4.51 40. It's not like he's blowing away competition like some people believe he is capable of doing. Love the guy and I'm rooting for him to make a roster. I wish him the best.

I haven't had to force fetch him, he has great drive. The only thing I have had a problem with lately is getting him to stay after the dummy is thrown.

I use a firm voice but I do tend to get a little loud with him sometimes. I will try the more positive feedback with him more. Thanks for the help
I have a somewhat skittish Chesapeake bay retriever.

He will be two in July. As a puppy he was sick for about 6 months off and on with meningitis and now he is somewhat skittish. He is a well-trained dog and loves retrieving for me, but when I do try to scold him some when he messes up he does not take it very well and kind of shuts down. Does anyone know if there is a way to break this or will I just have to train him without using a firm voice or something. Any help will be appreciate!
re: Kicking Game Issues?

I watched delahoussaye kick in high school as well, and he kicked a couple of long field goals against us. I'm sure he'll be pretty competitive in that battle.
re: Did Shep do anything in the Senior Bowl....

I do remember him getting targeted by Landry Jones two times in a row. The first time was a curl route in which he had some separation, but did not come back to the ball on the inside enough and the ball was thrown inside and hit off of one of his hands. The next target was a comeback route in which he was blanketed by the corner but the ball was thrown off target too high and to the outside too much. The main thing he should probably work on until the draft is his route running, that is still probably the worst part of his game

id say it has to be the multiple failed attempts of the Warecat formation.

2004 oregon state game

I just watched the Oregon State game from 2004, because everyone has been mad about Mett's production, so i wanted to watch another bad qb at work in Randall. Jamarcus Russell came in as a freshman and gave the tiger's their spark to victory. Maybe Rivers can come in a give that same spark at some point.
re: It's almost as if some of you don't watch the games

All I am saying: What must the players on the offensive side of the ball be thinking when they continue to go three and out, and they continue to stall drives with no touchdowns? also What are the defensive players thinking when they keep having to go back on the field after extremely short offensive series? You have to put yourself in their shoes. At some point if i was a player, i do think i'd be beginning to lose trust in the offensive coaches and head coach.

I completely agree with that statement too.
Energy in Tiger Stadium

Anyone else excited about the potential High energy in Tiger Stadium this weekend? We finally get a quality opponent at home this year, and although I don't think the team is where it needs to be right now, I do think the home crowd will help the team more than anyone really expects! :geauxtigers:

Learning to throw more on first down and 3rd and 3 is what needs to be changed.
Ronald Martin or Craig Loston

Loston may be the better tackler, but i think Martin had a little bit quicker break on the ball. Jalen Mills was definitely helping out Martin last night though
does our pass protection worry anyone else?
Posted by CSTiger1194 on 9/16/12 at 5:19 pm
I feel like the pocket has been collapsing a little too fast for the competition that we have been playing. I guess it will be something to look to get better at this week at Auburn. Also, i think bama is having some pass protection problems too
