Surprised I haven’t seen a thread like this yet

Defense played great but was on the field too much and/or our offense otherwise put them in bad situations. Bama scored almost exactly the same amount of points mostly from their QB/WRs/TE making plays more than our defense giving them up.

Offense was garbage. Sure we crossed the 50 yard line and score 3 field goals but 2 of those times our offense started in bama territory due to defense getting turnover on downs and forcing a couple fumbles/recoveries. Sure, a much needed QB change was made at the half this time but REC killed any chance of that providing the spark and momentum we needed

Here’s an even crazier stat that adds on to yours: in the same stretch of 13 winless starts,
Skenes had a combined ERA of 1.74

similar to the year DeGrom won the Cy Young despite the Mets being terrible
The day before the Bama game in 2016, I ran into Danny and his Dad at the Co-Op bookstore or whatever it was called (right there in same complex as Walk Ons and the burrito place).

I was wearing a generic #7 LSU jersey. He and his Dad couldn’t have been any nicer, and his dad took a pic of Danny and I on my phone.

It’s too bad that between our stone ages offense, and the REC refs gifting Jalen Hurts a non-holding penalty (one of many never called against bama in that game and time period) on a critical 3rd down when they were driving late in the 4th quarter when things had been tight all game up until that point to give bama the win. Sucks because GameDay was there and Death Valley was rocking at the kind of levels it does in those big games and situations.
Anyone else with a membership getting screwed by KR again with it saying it is only for media credential people only?

I guess ESPN box score it is
Even if the game at least starts and gets suspended after a couple innings, it could burn State’s ace Pico
I have mixed feelings about this also, but it’s a good problem to have. Glass half full is that Brown and Reaves being able to come in and pinch hit against righties in high leverage situations is an awesome luxury, and both have proven to come in off the bench in that role and deliver
I’m sure it’s been talked about before but the number he got and took to go pro was $797,500…do you think he would have stayed here had we offered him $1 million (or more) in NIL, and I think we had already guaranteed him a weekend starting spot. He would have been worth every penny, as he would be more than fixing some of the pitching issues we have now. I know he got mad and yelled at Yeskie about pitch sequencing in one game late last year, but I don’t know if there was anything more to it than that.

Granted, we did get Bear Jones back and are probably paying him in NIL what we would have paid Herring. Obviously that has turned out well as expected. And then we got Curiel, Arrambide, and Schmidt to campus so really we won more battles than we lost. But dang it I want my lagniappe!
Kendall,

In case you didn’t see my reply to the original poster of this thread a few messages above, here it is:

I have a regular D1 subscription already before I even knew they were streaming some of our games.

Do I have to pay an additional flat rate fee to stream the games this weekend, regardless if being a subscriber? Do I at least get a significant discount based on that whether I use a Discount Code or not?

I am sure if I don’t get an answer here, I will find out on the D1 site organically and if not, I can always email the question and y’all are always good about replying.

Keegan is a very likable guy, especially if you watched how badly he wanted to be on the Ryder Cup team during season 2 of Full Swing on Netflix
NBC for me in Chattanooga, TN via YouTube TV was airing the Titans/Saints preseason game and switched over to the golf tourney when the NFL game was over and Keegan and Scott had already played 12 or 13 holes
Am I losing my mind? Sunday back nine of a very significant golf tournament with significant storylines and I can’t find it anywhere on regular cable or network tv…wtf
I met Michelle Wie personally at the Lotte Championship at Ko Olina Golf Club (I lived in a condo in that resort community; same one where the Pro Bowl players would stay at the old JW Marriott/current Four Seasons and where the Disney Aulani Resort is 20 miles west of Honolulu) in either 2013 or 2014. My buddy who was a Club Pro and worked part time for The Golf Channel introduced me. Of course she is from Hawaii. I lived there 5 years, part active duty Army and part civilian job after ETS
If Ken Griffey Jr. had been able to stay healthy, I think that he would be the GOAT

Still the sweetest/most pure swing I have ever seen and obviously an elite, truly 5-tool player
It’s definitely top 3. SF Giants and Fenway are at least on par. My uncle (Guardians fan like me) and aunt (cubs fan) were at the game yesterday as they were traveling through the area. They were so disappointed they missed Skenes by a day and they aren’t even LSU fans like me
It is time for a Stache Mash
Bear is locked in. Tanks not so much. Can’t have your veteran projected first round draft pick making a stupid fundamental mistake that is the kind that can be the difference between win and loss and getting into a regional or not

Thank goodness Jump is locked in
He’s looking for classy places. I’ll update that in the OP
It has been awhile since I’ve been to Nola. I attended LSU undergrad 2006-2010.

Friend is there for a week working with a client for his own cybersecurity business. He’s in mid 30s and looking mainly for nightlife recommendations but secondarily food, general tourism, and casinos.

He’s staying in the quarter near convention center. TIA
