I haven't checked lately. But, having owned box turtles for 20+ years, I have always understood it as box turtles (eastern, gulf coast, 3-toed, etc) have never been endangered in Louisiana. They are listed as a protected species. Thus, the 4 per person limit. Years ago, I do believe that you could sell box turtles as long as they were at least 4 inches. Now all selling of native box turtles is illegal. Chinese box turtles can still be bought legally.
Also, male box turtles always fight and love to rape the lady turtles.

This is how our morning went in Hopedale. Only 2 specs though. All on popping corks some plastics, some live. Love catching reds

I don't understand why this movie was over 2 hours. At least half of the film (which never really goes anywhere, or has any sort of plot) could be cut out. Maybe if I was 40, it would have been funnier. Definitely disappointing.
