Dear LSUfreek,

All I want for x-mas is for you to work your magic with nick saban hacking bcs computer and Harvey Updyke poisoning trees in Harris poll voter's yards.

Another Harris Poll voter has not mailed in his ballot:

That is a stupid poll.

If I put up a poll over here that said would you rather play Bama or oSu in the title game, oSu would win in a land slide.

However, If I said, Play Bama and win by 30, or play oSu and lose by 30, I think you might pick Bama.

I can not believe that you would not be at least a little worried that 25% of the voters would vote a conference champion ahead of Bama.

Also, I think that some voters might put oSu and VT ahead of Bama. Your 25% is based upon Bama receiving all of the other 2nd place votes. You don't know that is going to happen.

How many ACC, B1G, and Big 12 coaches will vote:
1) LSU
2) oSu
3) VT
4) Bama

You might even have a few B1G and PAC coaches vote their conference champion ahead of Bama.

I wonder if it was Boise State that had only lost to LSU by a field goal in overtime, and Boise had beaten two teams in the top 25, would everyone be saying that Boise State should get a rematch.

I am a Bama fan and I am really amused by all the whinning and moaning about the possiblility of a rematch. The BCS was designed to have the two top rated teams face each other in a National Championship. Not the two best teams.

I want you to remember the part about the two best teams. OSU is probably not the best team, compared to Bama. However, it might be ranked higher because it played a tougher schedule. Don't grip if Bama gets jumped, by a team you feel is not as good.

With oSu, they have not won their conference. I did not expect to see any move this week. The huge kicker will be, when the regular season if final, and the conference champions are crowned. If oSu wins, how many VT and Stanford voters are going to vote them ahead of oSu, when they know that Stanford and VT have no chance of playing for title?

They have options now, next week if oSu were to win, they will only have one option to avoid rematch, vote oSu second.

That is why these predictions by a lot of the experts are a joke. How in the world do these experts know what all of the Harris poll and coaches poll voters will do.

However, we do know that there has never been a title game between two teams in the same conference.

I would not even say that Va Tech is completely out of this deal.
You are correct. Please drop kick the hogs, and then this win will not look as good for bama.
The lack of quality wins by bama are what the majority of oSu fans are griping about. I have not heard one espn mention the fact that LSU has not beaten any good teams, other than Arky and Penn State.

Bama's best accomplishment this year was being able to take LSU to overtime, and lose in front of 100K of their own fans.

OSU is 6-1 vs. teams in the top 30 of the saragrin rating. Yes, Iowa State is 29.
It is funny that the reason that the coaches claimed that they did not want their final vote revealed was because the coaches wanted to be able to be honest without fear of political reprisal.

BS! Some of the looked like fools and did not want to be called out when things like this went down.
Matt,

is there anyway that you can factor in the Coaches that will be biased for or against the Big 12 v. SEC? The only info is from the last public coaches poll that involved an SEC v. Big 12 argument:
