OQuigleys is not what is used to be IMO. It was once a Irish pub/sports bar and it was money...now it's Oquigleys Seafood steamer. Back in the Irish pub days it was great for football and fights.

Shades is on the far east end where 98 and 30A intersect(by Rosemary Beach). Good beer list, good wings and consistent(we eat there regularly). Will be a good place to watch SEC action, before you head down to Stinkys for the LSU game of course, but it is a little hike back to San Destin.

The Twisted Palm is where the Ole Miss alumni club meets, last I heard. We kicked off an alum association at Stinky's Bait Shack, very close to San Destin, located on 30A. This is our first year and we are having great crowds and look forward to sustained success and growth. Im not sure how rowdy the crowd will be for other SEC games, but the Tigers game will be a good time for sure. We would love to have you and your krewe!

Sounds like a good day! I'll be watching from my house, I have work to wrap up before the game tonight. It can be tough watching Bama vs anyone out here...Bama fans in droves. If I was free to watch where I wanted I would be watching from an iPad/iPhone on the beach. We'll have it on at Stinkys leading up to kickoff.

The best place to watch a LSU game is by far and away at Stinkys Bait Shack with the 30A Bayou Bengals IMO. We always have solid LSU crowd along with full control of TV AND audio, food and drink specials just for Tigers. Lots of good suggestions, but you are welcome to be part of the local Tiger population/Alumni Association. :cheers:

I'm sure they do, but you may be watching with a pile of gumps though. The Tigers will be at Trebeache!!!

What a great time we had for Wisconsin....until....well you know. Nonetheless a good time was had by all and we completely took over Stinkys, packed the place full of Tigers.
This week the viewing party is at Stinkys sister restaurant in Blue Mountain Beach, Trebeache. Hope to see you there!

After seeing this thread every year a group of local 30a Tigers decided to do something about it...welcome the 30A Bayou Bengals! No longer the question of where to watch the game when drug to the beach during football season.
Viewing parties will be at Stinkys on 30a, if youve not been here you will feel right at home. They are being a gracious host and welcoming us to TAKE OVER the Bait Shack. They have installed multiple big screens, great sound (yes we are piping in TGBFTL) and will have drink and food specials. Best yet, awesome LSU atmosphere. Feel free to join the FB page:
