Early 80s. Saturday doubleheaders were very cheap to get into, and we were not able to go to many football games so we spent a lot of time at the old Box.

The trip was supposed to be quick (for 1580's), but England and Spain started to throw hands, and cannonballs, and this conflict delayed him from returning as scheduled. So because of major war, he was delayed a couple more years. And the rest is history.

I don’t think Milam got him at 2nd either. Thank God no challenge

Yep, we got away with that one.

Ditto. I was saying "get down, get down" hoping it would drop before a fly out. Had no idea it would get to the bleachers.
This is my biggest complaint - he is slow to tell you WHAT just happened. He called one pitch where we were at bat with a full count like, "that was a good pitch, right at the knees" without telling you if our guy swung and struck out, took the pitch, did the umpire call a ball or strike, was it a strike out or a walk, etc.

Same with routine fly balls and base hits. Was it a hit or an out. Just tell us what happens without trying to color the adjetives so much.

That part drives me crazy.
Windsor resident here. Good luck on your sale.

He wasn't a legend the night he gave up that fricking grand slam to Stanford. ETA: I bet most of you little frickers don't even know what I'm talking about, much less watched it live.

Watched it live. And you're an idiot.

Oh brother. State your source, you hippie commie.

But your suggestion is indeed the company line trotted out by Mascona first then echoed shortly thereafter by the media sheep

But facts are facts, even if you don't like the source. The average LSU fan is too ignorant to understand that you don't fire a coach and pay a massive payout as opposed to putting real money into NIL and see if you can actually be competitive.

It's easier to just yell "fire everybody" instead of looking at real factors and solutions.

Truer words....our fanbase really is ridiculous.

Congrats on your strong women's track team I guess? Really puts LSU on the map.

For a fan base that is delusional and incestuous about claiming national championships, you sure seem selective about what counts and what doesn’t. But that’s Bama for you.

The fact that they couldn't get a grand jury to convict says alot. There is no defense, only "evidence" presented.
It's a pretty low bar to miss on.
