Everyone on the street, in the subway and inside the stores are looking at him like he is the human Tesla Cybertruck

An Apple Store at the Alderwood Mall was burgled last weekend, with thieves infiltrating the location through a nearby coffee shop. According to Seattle's King 5 News, thieves broke into Seattle Coffee Gear, went into the bathroom, and cut a hole in the wall to get to the ?Apple Store? backroom.

The burglars were able to bypass the ?Apple Store?'s security system by using the adjacent coffee shop, stealing a total of 436 iPhones that were worth around $500,000.

According to Seattle Coffee Gear manager Eric Marks, the coffee shop is not noticeably adjacent to the ?Apple Store? because of the way that the store is laid out. "I would have never suspected we were adjacent to the ?Apple Store?, how it wraps around I mean," Marks told King 5 News. "So, someone really had to think it out and have access to the mall layout."

I'm just trying to understand - If SVB's equity holders / shareholders lost all their money, who made money on the other side? I'm not familiar with how balance sheets and assets and liabilities work in a liquidation, so just want to learn from the experts here.

Regarding the vehicles listed above, is this only for new(er) vehicles, or any vehicle that has Apple CarPlay already?

I am pretty sure it will be for new vehicle only.

For Apple or Google to take over the entire infotainment system including vehicle controls through their own operating system, I think they have hardware and silicon requirements that the current cars will not have. At least that is how it works on Andoroid Automotive (not to be confused with Android Auto).

Apple said the first vehicles with support for the next-generation CarPlay experience will be announced in late 2023, with committed automakers including Acura, Audi, Ford, Honda, Jaguar, Land Rover, Mercedes-Benz, Nissan, Porsche, Volvo, and others. Ahead of time, we have recapped five key features to expect from the new version of CarPlay.

Google with its Android Automotive and Apple are really schooling these legacy car makers on what great UI looks like. However I still prefer physical buttons for climate controls and volume and such.

Gemini, the Winklevoss twins’ crypto exchange, has endured $485 million of net withdrawals in the past 24 hours, according to data by Nansen, as suspension of the yield program and a brief outage shook users’ confidence.

Yup. I only use centralized exchanges to get fiat in and out.

I use a hardware device to hold several different stables, with USDC being my most trusted.

Then, I have 40-50 active metamask wallets for swapping on the dex side.

What's wrong with just investing in CocaCola, Apple, Chevron, Bank of America and such? Why go through all that? What if you lose your fricking USB stick with all the ones and zeros?

Call me old school, but unless you can show me you have got 10x or 100x better returns over a sustained period of time investing in crypto, tokens, DeFi and other shite, the stock market is good enough for me.

What polls were you following?

That's why it is better to follow sites like 538 that average a bunch of polls and put a probability number for the outcome.

The results that far is in-line with what 538 was projecting in 90%+ of the races.
Lol...I just realized I was already following him on Twitter. Had no idea he was the son of an OTer.

TIL you can own your own private rail car & attach it to an Amtrak train

only ~100 private cars in operation in the US, they are extremely expensive (~$300k+) + Amtrak charges ~$5/mile.

But there are 100 rich train lovers out there!
