You can buy a cheap roto rooter (25ft) at Home Depot and that might work. Lately, I’ve had more luck removing p trap, taping end of pipe shut with duct tape to create a good seal, an then poking a small hole in the duct tape. Then I power up the air compressor and put the tip in that small hole I’ve created. It usually destroys any downhole blockage.

People on this site used to say the exact thing when it was expanding from 2 to 4.
re: What was getting tickets in Omaha like?

Paid about $220 per ticket for game 2 if Florida series and then $300 per ticket for game 3 (purchased from seats mid-game 2). Tickets were disappearing quickly with each Gator bomb.
There really aren’t any bad seats in the stadium though.

Fixing paint blemishes on vehicle
Posted by rlanders23 on 12/31/22 at 12:58 pm
I have a vehicle I’d like to keep for many years to come, but it’s got a few minor scratches on the body. Guessing a full paint job or wrap would be cost prohibitive. Are there any after market products that actually do a good job to mask blemishes? Can obviously just live with it but would like to understand my options for fixing it too.

Ours seem to die every 18-24 months. We just replace them with another one when on sale.

Varies based on experience but yes, it’s a competitive hourly wage with lots of OT available.

Haha! We use contract welders in the shop and in the field. Looking more for compressor, generator and engine techs. Diesel techs can pretty quickly transition to natural gas, so we’d be interested in those too.
Hiring event - Lafayette

Trying to host a 2-3 hiring event at our shop in Lafayette. For those of you in the area, any local avenues to get the word out? We’re in the mechanical services world (natural gas compression, generator repair, etc.). Any help would be much appreciated.

Eliminate tax withholding. Maybe if folks had to actually cut a check to the government, they’d think before they voted

Definitely agree on the above post. Do devil’s bridge at sunrise to be the crowds. It’s a lot less scary at the top when there aren’t 100 people waiting to pass

Thanks, everyone. This is great insight and gives me lots to consider. Will report back if/when I pull the trigger. Leaning toward using the current gun and upgrading ammo, but it’s always nice to buy a new gun. Assuming I stick with 30-06, safe to say the Remington 180gr I currently shoot wouldn’t be good enough for some of the longer shots?
