I do like how Texas is doing the Teacher Incentive Allotment. Good evaluations and student growth equals a bonus. Simple. Kids on IEP’s and EB’s have more room for growth…but are harder to “grow”. Beginning of Year test versus End of Year test. If they did, congrats, get a bonus.

Im not sure if anything will greatly change. It seems that a lot of the department is being offloaded to other departments. Therefore, it might not be going away as much as under “new management”. Time will tell. 10 years in education here.

504 and IDEA are very similar but service vastly different students. To act like they are the same is not honest to what is being looked at.

Supposedly some state didn’t turn in their numbers. Each state has to send in each set of numbers sold BEFORE the draw. That ensures no rigging. One state had a technical issue and could not send in their sets of numbers. I don’t know, read that on some site about an hour ago.

If he didn’t break a law, and you’re good with them taking his knives then you’re a fan of Red Flag laws. I get he was crazy but what law was broken to keep him from owning a gun? If it’s the words he said…that’s not enough for me!
