If you use that logic we also gave up a 3rd this year to use next year's 2nd now. We are Net -1 pick to get Kamara. Not a good value IMO
Baker is going to play SS most likely

How about an efficiency rating over the subjective opinion of a media scout.

Williams (6’1/202) made 30 starts in three years at Utah before turning pro, amassing 11 interceptions and four forced fumbles while working primarily as a center-field, single-high free safety. PFF College also charted Williams with the highest run-stop percentage among all Division-1 safeties in 2016, and the No. 2 tackle efficiency rating. Williams proceeded to blow up the Combine with 93rd-percentile SPARQ results, including an outrageous 43 ½-inch vertical. He also aced the Wonderlic (34) and is young for a rookie, not turning 21 until September. We’re not sure why Williams didn’t generate more pre-draft buzz. He checks boxes across the board as a high-ceiling safety prospect.
Wtf...they're totally different style safeties.

I agree 100%. Dude is a playmaker and the definition of a ball hawk. Him and Lattimore are a great 1-2 punch in the defensive backfield. Also to the people clamoring for Willis...have you actually watched him? The guy has almost no bend and limited pass rushing skills. That scares the shite out of me for a EDGE as far as a smooth transition to the NFL where you can't just rely on athleticism.
Holy shite there's so much dumbassery in this thread

Lattimore was a great pick.

Yay, lets pass on immediate playmakers on defense for an hamstring injury hobbled player!

Oh yeah let's just go for the guy with arthritis in his shoulders that clearly more than 15 teams have been scared off by. Idiot.
Not to mention we STILL have pick 32 to get yalls beloved pass rusher. Seriously this was an amazing pick that I didn't even think was possible 3 hours ago. Be happy people.
Are there seriously people complaining about the Lattimore pick? He's a top 5 guy in this draft period and he was gift wrapped to us. One of the better CB prospects in years. Stfu
Lattimore. Perennial shut down guy.
Yeah i feel you. To be honest I've seen Jackson projected all over Day 3. And a couple of the sites I use have him in the 200s so I went with it. But you're not wrong; it wouldn't shock me at all to see him go as high as the late 3rd.
I'm on my phone, so there's going to be autocorrect typos.
Thanks man! I'll venmo you your cut
You mind giving me the lottery numbers with that crystal ball of yours?
No trades.

I'll say this has been one of the tougher years to mock. Tons of good players with a lot of volatility in who goes where.

*I understand everything going on with Conley but this was done before shite hit the fan. Regardless from what I've read/heard teams loved this guy, his character, his interviews. Never had an issue beforehand. He's such a good talent and Philly is so desperate they end up pulling the trigger. Seems like Conley's side may be right anyway especially if there's video that backs him up.
The first (and probably only) Official PurpleDrank18 Saints mock draft:

11. Derek Barnett, DE Tennessee
32. Patrick Mahomes II, QB Texas Tech
42. Jarrad Davis, LB Florida
76. Fabian Moreau, CB UCLA
103. Desmond King, S Iowa
196. Josh Malone, WR Tennessee
229. Chris Carson, RB Oklahoma St.
