I enjoyed our last bowl game against OU...
re: How did A&M drop 48 in the first half?

A bit of both. Our offense is completely different with Starkel at the helm. It is unfortunate for our season that he got injured against UCLA.
Edit to say you could see the difference when Mond played in the second half. We were back to 3 and out University.

Born and raised in Texas, but have lived in 6 states since joining the military (TX, CA, RI, VA, AL, and FL). TX is its own entity, which is a good thing. I have yet to see another state with the same amount of pride throughout the entire state as TX. Hell, I have seen a business here in FL flying the TX flag but not a FL flag. So yes, Texas is Texas, but A&M is a much better fit in the SEC than any other conference and is damn sure a better fit than Mizzou is.

Whataburger honey butter chicken biscuit for the win. However, College Station does need a Waffle House.

Then why is the East vs West record outside of Bama still heavily lopsided?
re: A&M fans, how was Gainesville?

They didn’t say anything good or bad. Everyone just kept to themselves and didn’t talk to anyone else around them.

Tailgating was good, fans at the tailgates were great. The stadium was fun and the crowd got loud.
I sat in a UF section and the fans around me never said 2 words to me or my family. This surprised me a bit.

But this was called out of bounds and blown dead two weeks ago. Frick the SEC refs.

I was being sarcastic...

Give it a few years. All of these high school kids the Adidas reps paid will be endorsed (as promised) once they go pro.

This is what I am refering to.
"In the past two reported quarters, Adidas' overall U.S. sales growth went up 41 and 45 percent, while Nike, which has a significantly larger business, saw an increase of 3 percent in one quarter and none in the other."

The schools associated so far are not Adidas schools, so I doubt it will hurt their stock. Adidas has grown in popularity over the last few years and has been quickly gaining on Nike, to the point of overtaking the Jordan brand this year.

It does need to be fixed, but with the number of RPOs we run, I'm not sure it is as big of an advantage as people are making it out to be. Our young oline absolutely got worked on Saturday. I don't think that would have changed regardless of their foot placement on each play.

I wouldn't mind us playing Kentucky... :pimp:

I'm most concerned about Ole Miss.
re: A Vols-Aggies Rematch in SEC Championship Game wouldn't be close.

Had Garrett been healthy and played 70-80 snaps, we'd be having a very different conversation. I doubt UT would have come back from 21 down. Many of the big runs were to his side where the backup advanced to far up field and didn't fill the gap (similar to MG last year). He is much better against the run this year.
Both teams can point to this or that to say they would have played better. In the end, the score says it all.

This is also a reason I don't ever want to see a team like Houston make the playoffs. They don't have to play top level talent and get beat up week in and week out. Glad they lost to Navy.

People are over looking our injuries as well. MG was very limited due to injury, same with Ford (who normally sets up our 1/2 punch with TW), and RSJ was out. Washington and Wilson played through injury as well.
Both teams are banged up because of the physicality of the SEC and the schedules they had both played up to that point. It was a great game and one that could have been won by either team. Good luck to UT the remainder of their season and hope we make it to Atlanta to play you.

You can't target someone running the football unless it is the QB and he is sliding...
