RB is that you?? Lol

At it's core this is true but I think we're about to see how deficient we really were at the QB position the past 4 years.
We run the ball down their throats, yet when we really need our QB to make good decisions (which wasn't very often) he couldn't do it. It showed in his NFL combine scores.
Mett is not gonna save us, the team will save themselves. However, having an accurate cannon taking snaps from T-Bob sure will help our cause. Two years of Mett, then Rivers is waiting anxiously behind him. I never thought the day would come where we wouldn't have to ask "Who should we start at QB today?" But it's here, and Mettenberger will step up and ride the fire. Spring training begins!

LSU didn't help themselves any - that's for sure. But that kind of beating is not a result of "beating yourself". Beating yourself is missing a field goal, dropping passes, blowing coverage assignments, too many penalties, etc...
Ware dropped a couple passes. The play calling was vanilla. The defense played great against a very well coached, and well prepared, Bama offense. TR looked like an angry beaten step child running the ball.
It hurts me to say this... but Bama came in to our house and beat us. Worse than we beat them in theirs. Saban got his 3rd title. Congrats.
11/3/2012. We meet again. Saturday night. Death Valley. :spank: Get ready Bama. Without TR, you're proper fricked.
You'll lose half your defense to the draft, at least the secondary... So when Mettenberger hangs 350/3 on you, I'll have two words to say.

Honestly, Bama is the #2 defense in the nation behind us. Yes, BamaOne, y'all didn't earn a #1 spot by beating teams like Auburn, Georgia Southern (WHO HUNG 24 ON YOU IN YOUR OWN HOUSE, MIGHT I ADD), Kent State (4 interceptions). Your defense is pretty good, but compare the numbers. You've said it yourself, its about WHO you play. Who has Bama played OOC?
:geauxtigers: :banghead: <---- This is how Bama fans make me feel when they plead for their beloved rematch that won't happen.

A Bama/LSU rematch isn't good for the SEC, college football or even LSU. It is good only for Alabama. That's it. One school.
I agree with this 120%. No one across the nation, except in the state of Alabama, which no one gives a damn about anyways, wants to see a rematch. An 11-1 conference champion deserves a shot. Does Stanford deserve the nod to the BCSNCG over Oregon? NO. For the same reason Bama doesn't deserve a rematch. Conference champions should automatically get the nod to the BCS over a higher ranked BCS team. Oregon beats Stanford 9/10 times. We beat Oregon AND Bama already IN THE REGULAR SEASON.
And this idiot Oregon fan thinks we played a soft OOC schedule. On the road vs. their ducks... W. On the road against WVU (top 25 at the time), W. WKU at home, W. We played Florida, at home, which although is an SEC team, they're not in our division, so I count that as another OOC game. Whats Oregon, Bama, Stanford's OOC schedule look like? Don't worry... I'll wait.

I can't wait to see the ensuing meltdown when Okie State jumps you guys . . .
All the media is already hyping up the rematch, which won't happen. OKST beats OU by 17+ this weekend, and the computers that don't already have OKST at #2 will push them to #2. Most human voters, as we all know, don't want to see an ALL SEC NCG nor do they wanna see a rematch. OKST is going to get the nod IMO as long as they make it out of Stillwater with a nice W.

Sorry, 2 table spoons of Ingredient Alabama will be required for that mona lisa.
How does a team that gets beat in the regular season, and therefore eliminated from conference contention (because face it, Arkansas was NOT going to touch us this year), BAMA DOES NOT DESERVE ANOTHER CHANCE TO PLAY LSU. Period. Bama would have the brakes beat off of them if they come to the Superdome (basically a home game for us). We went INTO YOUR HOUSE AND BEAT YOU. We have more wins versus ranked opponents on the road than we do at home. How many ranked teams has Bama played, and beaten? How many has LSU beaten? We're 7/7. Georgia, on the road, will be 8. THAT IS CHAMPIONSHIP FOOTBALL.

I agree. I still stand strong on the fact that we went to Bryant-Denny and came out with a W. Now how do they, at the end of the season, get to be ranked higher than 2 conference champions with the same record? OKST and VT will both be 11-1, and holding a conference championship if they win. Hopefully, OKST welcomes the Sooners into Stillwater and Wheedon and Blackmon do what they've been doing all season. That way the voters that don't want to see a rematch/ALL-SEC NC will push OKST over Bama, and then we get our real national championship.

I've been having this same debate with many of my buddies about what would happen IF.... IF we lose to Arkansas and the BCS gets flipped upside down. Should Bama get the chance to be in the BCSNC game if SEC West loses in the SECCG... absolutely not. Like someone previous said... This is your playoffs. The conference games are the playoffs. You win your division, next step is Conference NC (at least is the conferences that have their **** together), then you win the conference championship AND ARE SEEDED HIGH ENOUGH, then NC bids can begin to be discussed. LSU wins out, Bama wins out, Oregon and OKST somehow lose... Bama still doesn't deserve a shot at the NC because they lost AT HOME, DURING THE REGULAR SEASON, IN A CONFERENCE GAME. There's your playoff game, your playoff loss, and you are now eliminated from contention (barring that OU, UO, OKST, LSU all win out). OKST wins out, LSU somehow loses, then OKST/UO would be the correct BCSNC game in my opinion. OU wins over OKST in the Bedlam game, LSU loses, OU leaps over Bama as conference champions, and we get an OU/UO game. Either way, Bama rolled down the hole with the shanked field goals.
Voted.
