Gregg Patterson needs to be included - before I dynasty started, Gregg played for Skip's first teams and was dominant. Unfortunately, he blew is arm out and tried to be a first baseman for the Cubs.

too difficult to select one - - bringing my daughter to her first Football game (Arkansas last year) was pretty cool.
The LSU vs. Loyola Maramount Basketball Game was unbelievable to witness. Only team I have ever seen warm up with jump ropes.

How are you feeling now about the Baseball team? Kinda wondering if all of you were part of the group who said Bertman was past his prime when he won his last title in 2000.
Come on stand up you fickled fans. :rotflmao:

Come on guys, why does everyone lookover John Williams - - he carried a team to the Final Four. Go back and look at that roster - not very impressive

Playing golf at Bogalusa Country Club in their annual 3 man scramble. I can remember the moment and the stinch from Paper Mill!
I had Anthony Wilson in my starting 5 but took him out - man he was deadly. Didn't have Rudy Macklin either - - that probably is a mistake.
This is a fun topic - - LSU BBall was so much fun in the 80's and early 90's. Can't believe how irrelevant the program is now. Hell at least with Brady we had a few good team every so many years.

Without being crucified, there is no way a Pistol and Chris Jackson team can win a championship. Both were offensive hogs and couldnt spell defense. Loved them both though. Always thought CJ is severely underated in the history of College Basketball - - he was unstoppable on the offensive side.
Give me
John Williams - good luck guarding him. Should have been the second Magic
Jerry Reynolds - he can shut down anyone
Anthony Wilson - never misses a wide open shot
Shaq
Stromile Swift

Randy Livingston doesn't deserve to be on that list. Unfortunately his injuries never allowed him to be a star. John Williams should definitely be in the starting 5. He was incredible and totally carried his teams at LSU
I was there that night. I can remember my Dad and I running down the ramp leaving the Assembly Center high fiving everyone. DT was such a smooth player - - one of my all time favs
There is no argument here - - WTH is if Miles is not. He has accomplished far more than any other Coach. Winning Percentage, Bowl Wins (real bowls not the Tangerine Bowl), Top Tens, oh and Championships and he is not finished. There is no debate.

September's schedule is just a little easier in 2012. Yuck - - everyone will get their wish for more night games.

WTH - a rationale, sensible post. I had to leave the RANT for a couple of weeks as some of you are drinking waaaaay too much Kool Aid. This is another epic matchup in the history of College football. I can't wait for Jan 9th. Geaux Tigers!
Sorry bro, that is an awful nickname
It is so rare for team to walk through the season and not lay an egg in a game. Outside of an awful first quarter against Arkansas we have been flawless and I believe it is difficult for the national media (and sometimes me) to accept. This team is special and once they finish this out, they are going to rank as one of the best ever!

Maybe this was posted earlier but if he ran for the Tigers he could have set records that were untouchable. The dude is a stud. I love our group of RB's but TR is ridiculous. :geauxtigers:
re: Why do most people on here think Georgia is better than Arkansas?

I am curious to see how much speed Georgia has. Arkansas is obviously pretty fast at WR but not very impressive on the defense side of the ball. They could not guard our WR and with our running game, they were lucky the game was an even bigger blowout. My guess is we handle UGA easily. This team stays focused and doesn't get distracted unlike all of us on the Rant.

They have to win these next two games, which I believe we will then I believe we are going to have wait for 10 years or so to see if we have any Hall of Fame type superstars on this team before anyone declares us as the best team ever. We are definitely in the conversation as long as we finish this out - - Which I believe we will
Pretty hard to compare them as they are different type of players. I will say this, I have never seen a player like TM7! What he has already accomplished is mind boggling
re: will lsu get their swagger back?

I cannot imagine this team laying an egg. It will be shocking to see Coach and his damn good team not finish this out. Arkansas is certainly peaking and Houston Nutt has been a thorn in our side for years - - but they have never played THIS TEAM!
Think its time to post a rant for therapy donations to all you whacko's. Coach knows exactly what he is doing and this team is freakin awesome. If they win out, they are going to be one of the great teams in the history of college football. Sit back, enjoy the ride or schedule a session with Dr. Phil! :geauxtigers:
