That 2 door variant of LC never came to the States but you can now buy them through import companies like Landcruisers Direct. As long as they are at least 25 years old cause of US stupid import rule. Usually they are right hand drive & have excellent Turbo-Diesels which we never get here. I second that though, LC’s are the perfect vehicle.

Tundra is an incredible, solid honest truck. It’s got “old school” engines which happen to be bulletproof reliable. Most of the “Baws” in here only care about the latest in BS infotainment systems & an 84 month loan. If I was in market today for a large truck, I would not hesitate to buy a new crewmax Tundra.

Yes had good soul food joints..Sweetpea’s, blue light & the best was Sarah (Albritton’s) Kitchen. Sweet old lady had a dining room right outta her house. It was the best before she got sick

Ditto that...it’s a great little college town now. I was there ‘96-‘00 & had some fun times at Ponchatoula’s, Sundown, Rabbs, Stoh’s, Norton’s Tavern & Dawghouse was a block away from my apartment. Never really liked the Q-nasty! Most of my friends had mountain bikes so I really miss hitting the trails @ Lincoln Parish Park. Didn’t realize how good we had it...that place is one of top trails of the South.
I pass through the RSN on a routine basis for of course football/baseball and I’m amazed at the growth. Downtown looks great, nice sushi joint, multiple legit coffee shops around town including Railway & finally a great little brewery that serves wood fired pizzas. I can’t believe student housing apartments actually overlooks the freaking outfield of baseball field!!!! Also the rock island greenway Trail is gonna be really nice once complete. I’m truly jealous of the students.

I’m experiencing the same pain though not as severe. I’m getting back into running and I’m 30 pounds heavier than I should be. One of my nurse colleagues said to roll your foot over an ice cold bottled water for relief

I love a Tundra just because it’s one of the only honest old school trucks left. Great engine choices (albeit thirsty) with bullet proof reliability, huge backseat (crew max) & the only truck with reclining rear glass window. That’s still the best feature that no other car company has.

THIS!!!! WTF is up with South La folks constantly pushing this? I grew up & reside in NW La...I happen to like it, but I appreciate the Cajun culture in the SW & even Nola. For years I’ve heard this drivel that we are South Arkansas & Texas. And you know what...i would be more than happy for Texas to acquire North La!!! Please TEXAS...you need the extra room for all the growth in Dallas. Get us out of this pathetic excuse of a state & away from the Baton Rouge corruption!!! ??
