re: Large Club Waiting List Protocol
Posted by Wilson on 5/1/26 at 6:43 pm to Koolazzkat
We need more details about the club in order to gauge the level of demand. Like is this a club on the Mississippi river with thousands of acres of bottomland hardwood forest that also has a little duck hunting or is it a pine tree club with some food plots and a pipeline?

I'm confused. Explain this to me like I'm 5.

I've hit the point where I'm capable of growing about half of the produce that Mrs. Axe and I consume in a year. We're on pace (it's a learning process) to grow, harvest and gather 100% of our fruits and veggies by 2028 witha bit of a surplus. It can be done. Just four generations ago, our ancestors all did this. We've just forgotten it.
We're spoiled by convenience and they're literally poisoning us through our own mistrust and complacency. It's time to break the mold and reclaim some forgotten knowledge. Study some stuff the permaculture hippies are into, and realize that even in the city you can grow plenty of food in five gallon buckets.
Can you post a how to in the Home/Garden forum?
I swear no matter who runs against Landry, that's who I'm voting for. It can be a liberal black women who identifies as a giraffe, they got my vote.

Is this the Edgewater Inn by chance?
I have two rabbits that you can have (one or both). My daughters (twins, no pics) are going away to college in August and obviously not taking them with them.
re: Do you ever worry about the apocalypse happening while you’re still alive?
Posted by Wilson on 4/12/26 at 11:32 pm to Globetrotter747
The Apocalypse will be a massive solar storm that takes out all satellites, most electronics and the power grid, which could take months to years to rebuild. With power out and no grocery stores or medicine, it won't take long for society to descend into chaos. It happened in 1859 with the Carrington event and there's no reason to think it won't happen again in the foreseeable future. There used to be a tv show with almost this exact same scenario named Revolution. I was very interesting to watch and think about what would really happen if it actually took place.
I second the Bucee's recommendation. I think I'm on my second one in 10 years. Yes, they leak some, but not nearly as bad as some other ones I've owned. Zippers still work.
That is the actual ratio of blonds vs. brunettes in the wild. So there's basically no natural blonds unless they're Scandinavian.

That's why I said "new". I would have never put a big underpayment penalty on a return without asking a few questions regarding the timing of your income.
I've been a CPA for 24 years and you wouldn't believe how much crappy work I've seen other CPA's produce. Some definitely subscribe to the quantity over quality theory, but to their credit that is usually reflected in the prices that they charge. A good CPA is not cheap, but they should save you more money than they cost. It's just hard for clients to know how good of a job their CPA is doing because 95% of the time, they don't really understand what they're looking at or what they're missing out on.
In high school/college I had a new 1995 Mazda B4000 4x4 5spd. I loved that truck. Tricked it out with a winch, KC Daylighters (165 watt), CB, scanner, dual antennas, aftermarket radio, Bazooka tube, alarm, 2 inch front lift and 32" BFG MT's. The GOAT addition though was a Knightrider light bar. I had to fend the ladies off with a stick!

You don't pre-pay. That's the bullshite of it. How the f#$k can I pay on profit I hadn't made yet and it was in Q4. Shady, that's why I won my appeal. Raped me on estimated taxes the next year and then held my money for 4.5 years after I won my appeal.
Really sounds like you need a new CPA. If they would have completed the Form 2210 correctly, then you would not have had to go through the whole appeals process.

That's a work of art. I don't think I've ever seen a pirogue that pretty. Amazing craftsmanship.

First thing you do is lookup a Youtube video on how to test with a multimeter if the compressor is shorted. If it is, game over. If not, then you look at your thermostat and defrost timer. They are usually under a cover in the top or side wall of the refrigerator.
I had 2 refrigerators with the same problem. One I had to add refrigerant to it and the other needed a new thermostat.

Why is someone paying you almost 10% of the price of the stock to buy it at such a high price in such a short period of time?

Can you please explain exactly what you did like I'm a 5 year old? Just trying to learn. Thanks
