Try Teet's for online ordering shipping. I get my Tasso there too. Amazing stuff.
Crawfish boil mushrooms
Posted by Savannah Tiger on 4/13/17 at 8:55 pm
I've been adding mushrooms to my boils for the last 3-4 years and have always run out before my guests appetites, so this past weekend I cooked 7lbs of whole mushrooms and I've got 2 gallon bags of crawfish boiled mushrooms in the freezer now as a result.
I'm trying to figure out what I can do with them while not just wasting them. Any suggestions?

If developing QB's is a weakness,

...why don't we just recruit juco QB's? They are already developed mostly, and just have to learn the playbook. Simple solution or am I missing something?
re: ESPN's Peter Burns-says Pete Maravich would have avg 57 PPG with 3 pt line

There is no comparison. I don't know that there's been a better shooter than Maravich. Ball handling was lights out too.

Lol. There are exceptions. I grew up in Evangeline Parish, and I'm 6'9. Whoever said the focus was on baseball and basketball was right. I wasn't even a football fan until I was in my 20's. We didn't even have a football team.

He doesn't speak like you'd expect a student athlete to speak and is very composed. The dude is sharp.
Just saw Tim Quarterman in the Savannah Airport
Posted by Savannah Tiger on 12/26/15 at 12:15 pm
Spoke to him for a few minutes and got a shot of him and my son with my camera phone. I felt sorry for the guy sitting in the airport sitting by himself. I was struck by a couple of things. First, he was very well spoken and a great representative of LSU. Second, while everyone else is spending time with family over holidays, he's headed back to practice and games in Baton Rouge. I wish I could have done something for him.

started with the Rant? I think it's possible.
Consider for a second all of the "insider sources" anonymously quoted, familiarity with the program, and ease for national media to come on here for a story after adding 2+2 together. I think it's entirely possible for this thing to have started and ended on the Rant...

I'm not suggesting that CLM remain head coach in perpetuity. We have a contract with him that out to be honored though. Integrity matters.
I'm mostly bothered by all the Miles haters posing as fans when they're obviously just groupies that follow any winning program. They're angry because Miles wins enough to keep them lap dancing for him and not losing enough to justify their moving on to someone else...

I'm not suggesting that Miles is perfect. Far from it, but his oddball ways have been awfully effective. I've never met the guy, so I don't know if it's personal charisma or what, but looking across the CFB ranks, he's got something lacking in the vast majority of football coaches. He's run a clean program we can be proud of and won while he's done it. You can't say that about everyone else.
This is ridiculous

I'm surprised what I'm seeing on this board. A bunch of whiny fans with hardly anything invested in this team is calling for a leadership change in the winningest program in the SEC because the coach hasn't won a national championship recently enough to suit them.
All the "I support the team, but I hate the coaches" is a line of BS. The coach is a part of the team, maybe the biggest part. I'm not saying Les Miles is the best coach in CFB, but he's world class and the reason LSU football is a national brand. LSU's current status isn't because Nick 'No Loyalty' Saban was here for a few years prior, it's Les Miles for the last decade plus. Yet, because it's been 8 years since a championship, you bunch of band wagoners are clamoring for change.
If you spent as much effort supporting the team as you are tearing it down, it would surely have a more positive impact. Winning is not a birthright. Having a college team capable of winning it all any year is not a given, but it has been with Miles at the helm. How about instead of acting like a bunch of spoiled little punks, you at least appreciate where we are every year, which is better than 99% of college football programs, again thanks to the man you all want fired.
Instead of jumping ship, how about you show some character and dance with the one that brought you. You bandwagon fans give the real LSU fan base a bad name.

I like Les Miles. I like our football team. I'm proud era of them both. Very few coaches or teams are considered elite year in and out, yet there we are.
What's funny is hearing GA fans telling each other how until they get rid of Richt, they won't have elite coaches like Saban or Miles. They're both excellent coaches, true, but our fans are delusional in their standards and expectations. Just shut up and enjoy having a win

re: Can We Be Honest Regarding LSU & Alabama?

Alabama is pretty spectacular, and they never look as good as when they are playing LSU. Hopefully we will get them next year...
re: Tyrann mathieu

He said in an interview a month or so ago that he became so popular overnight at LSU and he just didn't know how to handle it, and it caused him problems.
Love the guy. One of my favorite Tigers of all time.

I love that the big bodies are getting recognized too. This OL is a huge contributor to LSU's success this year.
