Roudup Powermax or Ranger only problem is I've only seen it in 2.5gal jugs. Which I buy a jug and it last me a few years.

I was looking the new Trijicon that comes in a green dot now, also Vortex and Holosum. I glanced over the sights today at Bass Pro but they were busy as hell so when they called my name I filled out my paperwork and got out of there.

I’ve been looking at sights now. I need to find somewhere that has a green dot in stock that I can look through. As all my red dots either have a star or comet effect to them with my astigmatism depending on the mfg. I’ve been reading that green helps reduce this effect, but really want to look through it before I purchase.

Can’t believe I missed this thread. I’ve been kicking around getting a Dan Wesson 1911 for some time now but just haven’t done it. I was browsing Bass Pro and came across the FNX-45 Tactical and after fondling it I found that it punched all my high capacity .45 wants. I got the email last night that it was ready for pickup. :nana:

I would go with a carbon fiber. A Proof Research would be over kill, but you can get the one that Ruger is installing for $250 if you can find it in stock.
