Exactly.
On the offensive side, we missed some wide open shots. That’s gonna happen and will usually balance out.
But they consistently beat us on the pick and roll and even on back doors. Open threes.
By the way, down 25 and we played ten seconds of press on the inbounds. They immediately dunked. Never really went back to it.
I turned to my buddy (season tix holder) and asked him — have we had an effective press ever this year? Or even under CMM at all?
We are missing tools in the defensive bucket that get exposed every time we play good teams.

And honestly, it was not even that close. After the first two minutes, we were out of the game and could not make a single double digit run.

Drizz, Alt. I was there tonight and I honestly can’t remember feeling so low. Or the PMAC being such a morgue.
This is how bad it was. Three guys tried to start up à “Fire McM” cheer …. And no one cared enough to join in or even complain.
Even the booing at half time was pitiful.
Thé apathy after watching the guys sleep walk on defense and miss 80% of the threes and 60% of the acts was incredible. The lowest of the low.
I would’ve bet à hundred that there was no way LSU could come out this flat and we did.
Keep Thomas. Maybe let Miller and Reed come back. The rest can go.

These bigs from Florida. I hate to say it, but I’m enjoying watching their quick first move, effortless spins and basket awareness. Shhh don’t tell anyone.
You’re so right Alt. But i gotta poke a little. We really haven’t seen much offensive sets from Florida. It’s been turnovers for outlets and running or defensive rebounds for put backs. Not saying they are not well coached but they haven’t really needed much scheme here. They’ve just out athleted and hustled the Tigahs.
Why does Miller go through these stretches where he just looks clueless??!?

Every tiny bit of momentum has been crushed by the gators. That’s what great teams do.
Their bigs play way better than ours with their backs to the basket, too. Imagine if Will Baker had been good.

Until the last two minutes, we were hanging around (thanks to horrid shooting from deep by the Gators of course). Disastrous last two minutes though - way too many turnovers and given up rebounds in those last few minutes.
It is nice to see DJ play well even if his shot is rusty. I hate that Sutton was a non factor in that first half
