Thanks for the input. He should top out around 6’1” or 6’2” like his brother.

Good advice and well taken.

Advice on Clubs for son

Holy Growth Spurt Batman.

My son is 11 and about 5’5”. He grew about a foot this year is going to grow even more this summer.

He is tall but his strength and form is still developing.

Any advice? Do I just get him a decent used adult set and let him grow into it?

Wonder what is happening in this stretch. Too much pressure in and old line?
This guy gets it. It’s cliche and kitschy..but damn is it fun to be in a tiki bar for a little while.

Speed Queen. Amazing. Some reviews don’t rate it as high because it’s water usage doesn’t fit the definition of eco friendly. However it is old school, has superb cleaning ability, fast and reliable.
Yep and it made a big difference.
Game changer for me. Someone recommended using Head and Shoulders. I use the two in one. A big difference in redness and dryness. Still see some minor flare ups…typically in winter. But nothing like i experienced prior.
On the way, we have started stopping at Wilson's Commissary for a meal in Laurel, MS. Prices are good and a nice place to relax and get a decent meal on the road.

In Tuscaloosa, we have enjoyed going to Roll Call for drinks. Its a roof top bar in the Alamite (nice place to stay too).

I am also a big SEC history fan, so eating breakfast at the Waysider is pretty cool. Bear Bryant had breakfast there every morning.

Black Warrior Brewing is cool place for meal...Ave. Pub is nice...Tuscaloosa has become a decent place to visit over the past 25 years. Take the recs from this board and then just explore. A lot of places to eat and drink at on University Blvd.
Melatonin works for me as well. The dreams are close to lucid. Cool if they are pleasant…fricking catastrophe if a nightmare.
New Zealand. The North Island alone has many of the features of USA except when hours of each other. Tropics, rolling hills like Kentucky, Mountains like the Rockies, Coast lines similar to all of ours. (NW, NE, Gulf Coast, West Coast, etc..) Marsh areas, thermal areas, a more.
My son and I grow white ghost peppers (seems cooler if they are white), chocolate carolina reapers and some scorpions.

We grow them in containers on the patio. SE Louisiana. They are pretty hardy and no issues with natural pollination. Grew them from seeds. Water regularly and enjoy.

Right now the scorpions are blooming. The others were in the spring. Fun hobby and a little goes a long long way when flavoring.
I was sitting in the helipad at Baptist watching that. It weird seeing and smelling so many fires. Reminded me of that scene in the Crow.
Spoon..I feel you on that one.

However, the talking and commiserating does help. I’m referring to the shared experience type of talk, not the morbid curiosity talk.

I will say…sometimes I wish there would be a meet up just for people to release some of that Katrina funk energy. Just a place where people are empathetic and just understand how fricked we all were and all are from the whole experience.
Guess I’ve made peace. I’m not irrationally reacting to how much Katrina upended everything in my family’s life. This is coming from someone who was with his wife at Baptist, had a house in Lakeview, had a career that was impacted significantly.

I’m cool because of my faith, my family, my support system and me.
Led Zeppelin played at the PMAC. That is it. Nothing else happening in Feb 75.
