Chicken, he already knew my Id; he could never get reinstated and asked if he could use mine to only post of Sports. I agreed, but he crossed the line, so I got a new password.
Will you please take my name off TD? I'm not sure where to go to have it taken off.
I'm too stressed for all this.

No, Otto is NOT and NEVER will be my husband. He is too the far left and I am all the way to the right. I am a born again Christian; Otto belongs to a cult.
When he went to school here, he actually came to my church, which is Baptist......
My husband of 51 yrs. did pass away a few months ago and I miss him terribly. I was caregiver to him for 12 yrs. He didn't live long after we found out about my cancer.
Should I write a novel about my life? Seems as if that's what I'm doing.

Guess I don't understand since I'm not a pro on TD. I give up and will request my membership be taken off.
Now, of course, Otto would understand with his IQ of 188. Too bad the Admin. doesn't reinstate him.

Tiger, of course it wouldn't show him living 2000 miles away since he has been using my ID.

Cajun, no I am not his famous housemate. He lived here years ago, went to the same school and church. He now lives 2000 miles away from me.

Chicken, it doesn't matter. I've already changed my password.
You might want to compare some of the post. Mine are always to the point and simple, unlike his supposedly 188 IQ writings.

re: For the people that get fever blisters......

Fever blisters are herpes, right?
aka simplex I.
lots of other symptoms possible.
I read once that some Israeli medical scientists found that the human body can respond to herpes simplex I with three scenarios (this was prior to DNA being sequenced... nowadays they could probably tell you which little pieces indicates the target person would get one or the other of the following).
1. a kind of leukemia/cancer
2. a kind of mononucleosis, attacking internal organs.
3. the typical herpes syndrome.
Now that fever blister does not seem all that bad, hmmm?

re: Was the 2003 Braves lineup the greatest one ever assembled?

1927 Yankees three guys batted .356 or better another guy mid 330's.
Ruth had 60 HR
Gehrig had 47
Cincinnati Reds
the 1970 team, which posted a regular season record of 102-60 and won the National League pennant.[9] Rookie and future-Hall of Fame manager Sparky Anderson headed the team,[10] which at its peak featured Pete Rose, Johnny Bench, Joe Morgan and Tony Pérez, and was supported by Dave Concepción, George Foster, César Gerónimo and Ken Griffey, Sr. [11] The eight players most frequently referenced as members of the Big Red Machine include baseball's all-time hit leader in Rose;[12] three Hall of Fame players in Bench, Pérez and Morgan; six National League MVP selections; four National League home run leading seasons; three NL Batting Champions; 25 Gold Glove winning seasons, and 63 collective All-Star Game appearances.[13] The starting lineup of Bench, Rose, Morgan, Pérez, Concepción, Foster, Griffey, and Gerónimo (collectively referred to as the "Great Eight") played 88 games together during the 1975 and 1976 seasons, losing only 19.[14]
Reds teams of the 1970s[edit]
The Cincinnati Reds of the 1970s garnered more World Series appearances than any other team during that decade, with an overall record of 953 wins and 657 losses.[15] They are the only National League team during the last 75 years to win back-to-back World Championships
Foster is in the 2nd tier. Foster was just the tenth player in major league history to reach 50 HR, and the first ever Cincinnati Reds player. His 149 RBIs also led the majors. He finished fourth in the NL in batting, missing the Triple Crown by .018 behind Dave Parker. He also led the NL in slugging percentage (.631), runs scored (124) and total bases (388).

They really have nothing going for them except for a great fanbase yet they've had a really good program for the last 50 years or so with a number of different coaches.
they have the WV coal mines going for them.

Fayetteville is a decent college spot as is Morgantown. Difference is, Morgantown is close to DC, Baltimore, Pitt, Columbus, Philly, and on and on.
Arkansas is a shite hole of a state with no major cities around.
Morgantown is a dark drab cold nothing. Its not "close" to Philadelphia.

Morgantown IS close to the most depressed part of the USA.
Youngstown Ohio.
U of Pitt lost a debate to WVU. Topic, Pittsburgh/Morgantown is the more depressed part of Appalachia. <=== Consider that topic.

3. Kansas State: Bill Snyder has to be one of the greatest coaches ever. And they already went to crap the first time he retired. It'll be interesting to see if it happens again.
4. Cincinnati: They were pitiful until the early 90s. Then they hit the coaching jackpot (Dantonio, Chip Kelly, Butch Jones in a row) and became a BCS team. I was stunned that they pulled Tuberville from Texas Tech.
5. Northwestern: One bowl game before 1995. 10 Bowl games since. They went from the worst program in college football to an average B1G team, sometimes better.
1. Northwestern won a Big Ten championship (and a trip to the Rose bowl where they were CRUSHED by USCw) with a coach who soon after won a natty at Colorado. Coach was the reason. NCAA found coach to be slime. Current coach was hung-ho player.
2. Bill Snyder led Cal (UC-Berkeley) to a 10-1 with the only loss to Washington on a bad call. He wanted more money. Cal would not pay it. He left. Cal went downhill immediately. Been up and then down since. But when he left, it fell apart, fast.
So... coach really matters. I was sad for Mich State when Saban left them for LSU. They were doormats for Michigan for so long before Saban.
Coaches and assistants really matter and not just for recruiting, although recruiting obviously makes a big difference. Recruiting is not why Northwestern is good. They have zero 4 star players, year in, year out.

Thanks sweetness and Buddy Ryan.
Sweetness was a bit over the hill by then. 22 carries for 51 yards and no TDs. The refrigerator scored one. McMahon scored on two. And another RB had one.

re: Do you consider Texas to be a "southern" state?
Posted by sassyLSU on 4/10/15 at 9:37 pm
its an enormous state.
My take on the question.
west texas is "the west". mountains.
southeastern Texas is southern.
the panhandle is north, complete with cold and winter.
south Texas is Mexico.
San Antonio is Texas.
if Texans were not so crazy about being Texans, they would have split into 5 states as they are permitted to do and have 10 US Senators.

some people are incapable of commitment.
some people have such low self esteem you cannot measure it.
some people get off on the power that they have over the married person.
some women see Daddy in older married men, and they get off on taking Daddy away from Mommy.
