You can make a great living with any degree if you put in the work. Mass comm graduate here and I never had any issue finding or keeping a job. I’ve spent my career working in high tech and make a very nice salary.

Had shoulder surgery last year (torn labrum and rotator cuff) - around $100k before insurance. So your pricing sounds about normal

Being forced to listen to the radio tonight reminds me how bad Chris Blair is at announcing. No energy, no excitement, no clue what’s happening half the time. He made Jones’ double just now sound like a casual fly ball out.
