The refs lost control of the game to the SC players. The refs missed a handful of calls against SC... which were clearly noted by the commentators. The worst thing they did, though, was to ignore the taunting by SC. They never even looked their way!

Kinda like a young man who recognizes the presence of God as a good thing. Seems to me that it's a whole lot more positive than a world without Him... say in China, Russia, North Korea... where He supposedly isn't legal. Hating on a young man because he mentions God... hmmmmm, smart gamblers would probably not take the odds on that.
Project Purdue Fan: Here's a guy from Opelousas I met when a kid: LINK He was the 1st great Opelousas Tiger & quite a celebrity there when he was at LSU.
1997 win over No. 1 Florida!

I seem to remember Iowa's football coach covering up his share of sexual predators on the football team... but then, he runs such a "clean" program.

His decision belongs to him only, ours don't really matter. Would love to see him (a Louisiana guy) at LSU.
The AU deal is all about people who didn't like the guy to begin with & would rather bring the house down (and the reputations of innocent people) with personal rumors than actually build their program by cooperation. Spoiled big money donors, who will stoop to any low down level to soothe their egos! How many of you guys would like to get that deal on your own jobs & against your own families & personal reputations?

Please ask these congressmen how they become multi-millionaires on congressional salaries? At least the contracts of coaches are pretty much common knowledge... if their money sources were public knowledge, they'd be in prison.
Looks like Minnesota got him.

His brother could have waited until January!
josh336: so, why didn't he say that this morning on national tv... NOT what he said.
He says he wanted "younger coach" but complains that LSU didn't do what ND did... huh?

Hopefully a translator if he's going to continue to cultivate that fake arse ridiculous cajun voice.

Because you are a Harvard fan (& think you are "woke") & because you didn't capitalize "Cajun", I have no doubt you have no cultural acumen.

Easy: Loyola Marymount! Crazy fast!
After what happened to Joe, one play can change all of our expectations. Finley is big & looks tough, but so does every guy who lines up behind center. Johnson & Brennan are both mature guys...they know what injuries can do & they will both be patient...at least thru the spring.

Perspective

Posted by kpsoileau on 11/10/20 at 9:55 pm
The most important word across the world...and especially in college football on this day is perspective. People are dying in our home towns & towns across the globe about which we have no personal knowledge. People are afraid, regardless of race, creed, or color. Our governments, state & federal, don't have a clue about what to do or what is actually believable. This is the craziest time I have known in my 70 years...and I've lived all across the South from Texas to South Carolina.
People everywhere need to stop, take a deep breath, & prioritize their lives & their thinking according to good old common sense. Nowhere is it needed more than in the world of football. Presidents, governors, legislators, coaches...none of them are capable of controlling the circumstances nowadays...it is beyond any of them. We all need to curb our expectations, control what is within our own power, & keep our heads about us.
I would love for LSU to be undefeated & whipping Alabama this Saturday...but it's not in my control...it's not even in the control of the two universities. People in Alabama are living with the exact same fears that people in Louisiana are. Cut people some slack & maybe even pray for your enemies, whether they live in Alabama or coach in Louisiana...it's the right thing to do.
Not lack of talent...lack of experience. Young with no spring training & short preseason in person team practices...you can see it all over the NCAA.
