Evangel has always done that. And living in Shreveport now with kids in high school and watching games, I understand why. The kids aren’t that big here for OLine and when they play Monroe area schools or down south, Olines get blown up here

Outside of the first game of the season, I’ve been saying this all year. So many times we need him to just put the ball in play and we score a run, then he strikes out. Or just get the ball out of the infield, and it’s a pop up. He does not have any situational awareness at the plate. It’s just swing big

ULL has the chance to be a serious player in the college baseball scene. They have very good facilities and a strong fan base and lay in fertile recruiting ground.
But what’s sets us apart from them. We focus on the long game. Hoover, regionals, and Omaha.
Their focus is to beat LSU in a mid week game. If they shifted their focus to deep in the season success rather than a random Wednesday in March, they’d have more trips to Omaha.

Shreveport for both. Came to Shreveport the summer of 22 for work and it was 117
Moved to Shreveport 2 years ago. Last years we missed the snow that south Louisiana got but it was 10 degrees here one morning.
Been to Vegas and Omaha here it was well 100 but the humidity was lower.
