He's been playing Driver 8 and Honeysuckle Blue a lot on tour lately. I saw them in Mobile a couple of weeks ago, awesome show. I have no plans to listen to the cover album and Driver 8 is about the only REM song I can muster through.

Funny that you mention chickens. In the late '90's I worked for a ship services company and would help ships at the Port of Wilmington. Many of them were reefer ships that would take on a load of frozen chicken headed to Russia.

The Russian crew were always looking for used American cars to take back with them. Somehow, I would always get caught in the middle of the barely English speaking Russians and a scum bag used car salesman. Those Russians sure loved them some Ford Explorers.

The only training guide that I have ever used for my labs was Waterdog. I never hunted them but wanted them to be obedient. My first one I got in college and had him doing hand and whistle commands. You can take it as far as you want but it all starts with the same basic things.

To me, "Save His Soul" is their best album. The song Defense & Desire is awesome, Bullshitter's Lament and Conquer Me ain't bad either.

It's been a while but I've watched games at Live Bait before. Always was a good game watching crowd there but that was in the pay per view days.
