Does Will Wade throw out the first pitch tonight?

re: Anti-Pears: Asking for logic

I'm not Anti-Pear and I'm extremely excited to have him back in P&G. He will, at the very least, bring relevance back to program and put a good product on the floor. He is a polarizing figure and has tremendous upside. But I guess I'm in the group that is not over-reacting and pretending he is the second coming of John Wooden.

There is definitely room for him to grow as a coach, especially in-game and schematics. He is relatively young so I have no doubt he will continuously get better all around. I'm just not penciling us in to the Final Four next year.

FWIW, I hope he does become the greatest college basketball coach to ever live.
Hope Wade makes a run at trying to keep Dedan Thomas.
And now he might not make it out of the 1st inning. Bizzaro World!

From everything I am hearing, all this Wade stuff is in spite of Verge.

Pretty sure we will see:

Fri - Evans
Sat - Schmidt
Sun - TBA

I think Jay sells out to win the first two and will use whoever he needs on the pitching staff to get it done. I don't see him holding anyone out for Sunday if he has a shot to win the series in 2.

elite

Not sure you're using this word correctly. He is elite at putting up shots, ignoring his teammates, not passing, and definitely elite at not playing defense.

Dude probably has a career+- somewhere around -700.

Baseball's issues stem primarily from one thing. The transfers outside of Moore were complete whiffs to this point.

It can be, but over/under what?

I'm just bored at work, man.

Over/under on a yes/no question?

Yes, unfortunately I think there will be a stoppage. Two sides seem lightyears apart right now.
All of the infielders that left are performing better than the ones we brought in.
Does he join the Kaepernick train and claim he's being black-balled?

Vandy has a couple guys that have a high propensity for hitting balls over the fence. If we can keep them in the yard and our offense comes out of hibernation, LSU should take this series.

Apparrently, there's good money in that these days
Based on everything I've read about him, pretty sure he's coming here as a middle infielder.
NB4 "he'll never make it to campus"

Congrats to the kid!

NFL.com FA Tracker

This is my go-to...you can view every team's off-season signings and trades and pretty easy to navigate.

We lost several stud pitchers, and don't have an Ace on the staff (you need 2 studs to be Omaha material).

Starting pitchers has been the least of our problem. In fact, this is one of the few times in recent history that we have 3 legit weekend starters. It's the bullpen that has been the bigger letdown.

We lost some key defensive players.

Completely agree, Dickinson and Braswell's defense was high quality. Jones' defense was very underrated at 1B, and Hernandez handled the staff really well last season. I think Jay felt he could sacrifice a little defense for more offense in the transfer portal and, like you said

that hasn't happened

Arrambide hasn't gotten much better behind the plate and his backup is a true freshman that isn't much better defensively and is really struggling offensively.

Brown and Curiel have been solid. Milam is off to his typical slow start offensively but has been a gold glover on defense. Bottom line, the new guys need to step up and earn their paycheck.
