made it through a hellacious weekend with no cheating. week 1 down

350/343/250

Only lost 7 pounds on atkins induction 1st week. I know I did not drink near enough water this weekend. Hoping week 2 brings about more results...

Day 6 of atkins. Worst day by far. Masssiivvveee cravings..irratible as hell and generally pissed the frick off.. Got by yesterday and still have stuck 100% to the plan. Not as bad this am but some cravings still there. Had to pick up food for the grandparents and wife yesterday at taco bell and captain d's.. I wanted something in the worst way..drove by my grandparents and threw all the shite out in the front yard  just kidding! Help me!!!

That's what I was thinking..if the 1 tbsp of worchestire was 2-3 carbs then you COULD technically eat the whole batch and only ingest 2-3 carbs, not per serving..

Thanks alot for the help guys...it has been kinda hard so far, but seeing instant results keeps the determination up!

just trying to understand here

mayo- no carbs
mustard- no carbs
salt- no carbs
pepper- no carbs
butter- no carbs
worchestershire- 2 to 3 carbs in recipe

How would 1 tablespoon have 3-4 carbs if the whole recipe only contains 2-3 carbs??

Also weighed in again today 4 days in

350/342.5/250

total loss in 4 days 7.5 pounds! :nana:

1 tbsp has that many? I guess mixed with the other ingrediants it would be ok though

Any reason this bbq sauce wouldn't be allowed during induction? Cup mayo, cup mustard, 1 tbsp worchestershire, 1 tbsp pepper, 1 tbsp salt, 1.5 stick butter?

Finally took the plunge yesterday..hope to get some support here. Started Atkins yesterday...

353/353/250

I hate dieting :banghead: so thought I would give Atkins a try since I have never tried it before..

first day menu (feed back welcomed!!!)

breakfast: 3 eggs fried, 6 pieces bacon
snack: hard boiled egg
lunch: porkskins (yea i know not enough)
supper: 3 cups salad, 1 chicken breast, 1 hard boiled egg, 1/4 cup pickles, 2 tbsp blue cheese dressing
snack #2: hard boiled egg

based on Spark people meal tracker it came out to

1,913 calories
13 carbs

calories look high but is that normal on Atkins?

feel full this morning..

hope Im doing this right
Man frick this little dip shite...

Question for those doing Atkins..

Can I eat fried chicken wings (or any piece)during induction? no breading just deep fry the wings?

If so, do I have to use a specific type of oil during induction?

Can a no carb hot sauce be added (franks, texas pete)?

I am planning on making thse at home so I know it is just chicken and oil..

TIA
