Might not be the same rescue, but sure shows one thing...they have some damn good penmanship if they're having to draw those heiroglypics in that article.
re: I have a 4 ft black colored snake living under my refrigerator. What to do?

If you're that freaking scared of a harmless snake, just grab a fishing pole and thread the line back through the end leaving a loop. Stick it around his neck, cinch it up and drag his arse out.

On stage for the live show, right after reading votes....with no warning. Would have been awesome!
re: Chili recipe... whatcha got?
Posted by BhamCAT on 10/29/17 at 4:47 pm
I prefer no beans or tomato as well...however, I have a family. To make everyone happy and after tweaks....
3 lb ground beef
1 lb smoked sausage
3 packs chilio mix
3 cans diced tomatoes
1 can black beans
1 can kidney beans
1 can mexicorn (drained)
small bell pepper diced
small onion diced
chopped garlic to taste
chopped jalapeno to taste
throw in a crockpot on low for about 6 hours. Serve with cornchips, shredded cheddar and sour cream.
Never had to throw away any leftovers.

That would end up like a competition. I think I'm gonna have tamales tonight. The hell you are, I'll eat 3 cans of refried beans if you do.
Wake up on a Sunday morning....hey sis, I saw this video of a guy eating 3 california reapers and drinking a fifth of fireball. I think I'm gonna try that today.

And if you want to get them drunk, only one has to drink. Get them stoned and they both bogart the shite out of the joint.

Bigamy if you marry them? I can't imagine how awkward if they each married someone different, so now you'd be stuck putting up with two women for the same piece.

re: Any of you ever buy Red Diamond Tea?

I don't drink their tea, but I could hit a golf ball from my back yard and hit their warehouse and headquarters. Best friend's wife works there. I'll ask him what he is hearing about this.

re: Anyone been bitten by a venomous snake or knows someone who has?

When we were in high school, my brother and I had two rattlesnakes, a cottonmouth, and a copperhead with 7 babies as pets.
We went out snake hunting all the damn time. They get pretty tame after being in captivity for awhile and view you simply as the guy who drops mice in their cages.
Brother got careless one day while we were cleaning their cages and mama copperhead got him on his ring finger, probably because she was extra nervous with the babies being in there.
Made it to the hospital within 30 minutes for anti-venom and they still had to amputate his finger. Parents made us get rid of all our poisonous pets. :wah:

re: What animal would you have as a pet if you could tame it?

For arse-kicking it would obviously be a tiger........but for pure "pet" in the sense of having a dog or a cat.....
Meerkat without a doubt.

re: So, do you use glasses in a hotel room?
Posted by BhamCAT on 8/21/14 at 10:18 pm
Gloves when getting in a taxi (how long since those seats have been "cleaned")? Mash the elevator button with your elbow? Swim in pools? Eat at restaurants with gloves on? Those salt and pepper shakers have been handled by hundreds. Prolly never used your hands to rip open a packet of ketchup from McDonalds to immediately use those hands to dip French fries into......those things are surely clean.
I just don't get it.

These ziploc baggie people must think that housecleaning scrubs and sanitizes the door knobs, bathroom knobs, light and lamp switches, refrigerator and microwave/oven, coffee pot handles, coat hangers, etc.
Either that, or they just wear their scrubs from their hospital shift......that they wore to taco bell for lunch, and they put on masks and gloves before entering their motel room each night.
And screw walking barefoot around the room, or god forbid taking a shower.......nope, shower shoes for all that, might be germs on the floor, unless you expect the housekeeping crew steam cleaned the carpet and bleached the floors in the bathroom and shower.

Thanks for the encouragement! In my twenties and early thirties, I was a workout freak, though not like some of you guys. For reference, I got up to a bench max of 280 with a body weight of 150.
Then I got married at 33 and had a kiddo. This has truly been eye-opening as to just how bad I have let myself get out of shape, even though I only weigh 165 now.....just none of it muscle.
I will NOT come close to 10k this month, but I WILL do 10k in a month sometime soon.
Already clearing junk off/around the bowflex and my 12 year daughter is ready to start a workout program.
Thanks all for the motivation.

Accepted the challenge on 7/29, figured I would start training. Took me 5 sets to get to 42 total. :banghead:
Unable to do ANY on 7/30 or 7/31........dammit, I'm out of shape. :wah:
8/1 - 13
8/2 - 26
8/3 - 86
8/4 - 26
I suck
:rotflmao:
But........I have gone from a max set of 12 to a max set of 17 in just a week. Hey, it's progress. :nana: :nana:

I'll give it a go. I haven't worked out in several years. I'm an out of shape 46.
Started practicing half an hour ago. 3 sets of 10 so far. Prolly won't be able to lift my arms tomorrow.

re: Cooking red potatoes on a grill...
Posted by BhamCAT on 3/25/12 at 4:33 pm
I cook red potatoes on the grill all the time. I slice them about a 1/4" thick, dice up onions. Put both in a tightly sealed aluminum foil pack, with salt, pepper, olive oil, and butter. takes about 30 minutes on the grill. spray the foil with cooking spray first to help avoid sticking.
