"everybody's got a gun!" is a line I use all the time. among many others from this classic.
SPOILER

Hated to see Manny go but it was always gonna happen. Should be a great finale.
Clay Davis is in the new Netflix show The Residence. He is phenomenal in that as well.

And the Oakland mayor is retarded. Sounds like something Latoya would say.

re: Will Rory still play in the Zurich?

looking at the full list, what a snooze fest. Sucks for Zurich.
thanks for sharing. pretty much sums CBS up.

to the poster talking about the media, I'm a regular NLU listener and I couldn't get through the first 10 minutes of their pod today.
I haven't given it a lot of thought but please tell me why Harman has to be on the team. I don't see what he brings other than 100 waggles before every shot. And please don't say bc he won in San Antonio.
I thought CBS had a terrible week. I'm not a Rory guy so I ended up watching the last few holes on mute. It got to be too much. Nothing really against him and I'm glad he finally won a green jacket b/c no matter how big of a dbag he is, he is one of the greatest golfers ever to play.

Back to CBS, it was rough from Thursday when they weren't showing certain players, couldn't' track the ball with the still cam behind the greens, and there are plenty more examples of poor broadcasting. The worst was yesterday when they were basically only showing 2 players then shite hit the fan and they were scrambling to show more people just in case one of them won. Case in point was them not showing Reed and Connors, the next to last group, finish out on 1. they only showed their approaches. They had to tell us after the fact they both made bogey. All b/c they were too busy slurping Rory.

People tune in to see Augusta and the shots that course requires. yes the app allows you to see them all but from a broadcast standpoint I thought it was overall very poor. Props to Dottie though, she is great on the course.

More examples: we got to see Langer and Couples attempt to make the cut on Friday. It would have been cool to see other guys who were on the cut line play of the final holes as well. And then to only see some of Scottie's shots on the final round in inexcusable. Like on 2, he ends up punching out from way left and we have no clue how he got there. again, they were too busy playing the Rory angle.
I could still name you all the holes at Westwood. Played many of school matches on the par 3 nine.

Netherton's were a staple out there. Was sad to hear that it was closed. (many years ago now)
that was very cool. Thanks for posting.

Have casually watched most games (not all) I actually agree with the OP’s take. The numbers are not bad and there is no arguing that. However, it’ll be interesting to see his numbers at the end of the year as he faces top end pitching. He does seem to struggle in big at bats.
Manfred is a joke and he let his sport get to this point. ESPN sucks but baseball hasn't done anything to help itself lately other than the pitch clock. I thought that was a vast improvement.

Letting guys like Angel Hernandez and Las Diaz continue to be umpires is also on him. I know they are union but these and others hurt the game.

If it wasn't for Disney's money, ESPN would be an after thought in 10 years. Whoever said it has turned in the NBA daytime drama network hit the nail on the head.

While I hope no one is injured, I’d love for the Super Bowl to turn into a shite show. Nola doesn’t deserve nice things. Imagine being one of the worst cities by any measureable statistic and then getting a chance at a fresh start with half your trash in Atlanta and Houston. And gobs of federal money at your disposal. What did Nola do? They managed to frick it up worst than it already was.
There are bad call and bad ejections and then there is this. Those refs should not work another conference game this year.
It was plain as day on live tv. Ref started waiving his hands for the clock to stop immediately after the play. Saints caught a break and they still couldn’t capitalize. Though I do think if it continues to run they still have time to spike the ball.
that 1st half was what college basketball is supposed to look like. Hope the 2nd half is as good.

Makes the game unwatchable if they are going to make calls like that. Literally no one saw the defensive guy jump offsides first? Wtf are they watching?

Stadium Club Trade?

Posted by cptigger on 11/8/24 at 6:22 pm
Interested in trading my 4 south stadium club tickets for 2 west stadium club. In the event someone with 2 in the west is interested please reply.
He didn’t even throw the headset. Why on earth should he have been penalized, much less kicked out of the game? A huge call just went against him. He’s allowed to be extremely pissed. frick what college football has become.
