I’m old enough to remember when being called gay was an insult, not something to be celebrated.

My dad passed a few years ago. Before he died he told me how proud he was of the way I have raised my son.
That was a life changing moment

Everything you love about EBR public schools is because of…
When popping a cork all day, I bring both. When one arm gets tired I switch to the other.

You looking for stock tires? I see them on market place with rims for around $100 often.

My MIL used to take my young kids to see their great grandmother when she was in assisted living all to time. All the other old folks would love it when they came. Would give them candy and all kinds of stuff.
Like you said, they probably didn’t get many visitors and never got to see young people.

Re the State's seat belt law, there's a bigger picture involved, & it goes along with mandatory helmet wearing on motorcycles. Multiple studies show that injuries from not wearing either dramatically increase the extent of injuries, subsequently, insurance costs. Which eventually ends up costing all of us. Not that "visible" to the general public perhaps but numbers don't lie.
Tell me more about those insurance rates since seatbelt laws were adopted.
Seat belt. Some mf’er can get on a crotch rocket and kill himself, and I can’t even kill myself in my Silverado.

grew up down the street from him, his replacement at Woodlawn had a decent NFL career too, everyone in that area got college scholarships for sports, we thought that was normal, although that would clash with the travel ball cult thread
Did you know any other players on the Woodlawn team? My dad played with him too and had a football scholarship to Tech. I know a bunch of other players played college ball from Woodlawn. I seem to remember my dad saying they had another qb that was just as good that was killed in Vietnam.

This an apples to oranges comparison. The inner-city connector hasn't been finished because of state issues acquiring the property. This new roadway is privately built through mostly unpopulated acreage.
My uncle in Shreveport said the hold up was the usual suspects claiming their rundown houses are worth millions.

I did a little research on them after I got the 440. Apparently they can basically be rebuilt on the tailgate of a truck.
I have an MS170 that’s a good little saw, but that 440 is something else.
My son actually has it now because he went to the camp to cut down some trees for firewood for thinking season. We’ll never get rid of it!

Example 50k could pay for a car that could help with finances and work. But its not going to do much else. 100k could be used for an investment thats significant.
My wife and I have 4 paid for cars, but 50K would be a pretty significant sum. Could pay off a pretty big chunk of what's left on the house.
