But how severe a violation? If an offer was discussed but no offer was made, how bad of a violation is it?
Only problem with that is Coach discusses making the offer in the taped conversation, so trying to parse no offer made is ridiculous and making the offer is the "potential" violation.

FBI??? This was a BRPD/EBRSO investigation into the OLOL Foundation and embezzlement. Where are you getting FBI involvement? Conflating investigations, maybe?
ETA: The report released yesterday is the work of a third party (Deloitte) outside accounting firm doing an audit of the books of OLOL Foundation.

There have been instances where it was all sealed and the NCAA did not have access, correct?
The latest USC football probation was a partial result of an Agent's criminal trial and his dealings with Reggie Bush and family. Trial testimony and evidence was used by the NCAA against USC; so, NCAA getting evidence from a Court is not out of the question.
The evidence and testimony from the Shapiro trial was used by the NCAA against the University of Miami.

Or check PACER for court documents in the case.

We don't even know which side would serve him unless I have missed something. I suspect it would be the prosecution. The defense would have virtually nothing to gain unless they showed that Will Wade asked for money and the accused said no. That, of itself, proves nothing, so we presume the prosecution would be the ones calling him to testify.
The Defense would be calling Wade as a witness. The central tenet of the case is that the accused defrauded the Universities in question for which Dawkins has already been once convicted. The Wade conversation "supports" the defense theory that the Universities and coaches are complicit in this and therefore cannot be defrauded by said actions.

Maybe I’m confused, but why would Christian Dawkins an Adidas bagman be trying to help Wade get Javonte to a Nike School
Dawkins not techincally an Addias runner, he was working with Andy Miller at AMG (a Sports Representation agency) trying to get players to contract with AMG and a new agency of which is was a principal, part of his "job" was helping to secure funding to players in hopes of bringing them aboard at AMG or the new company.
re: Devin White Returning?

Had he gone after his Jr. year, he would have been a high pick. Was listed top 5 OTs after his Jr. year on most predraft lists. Thankfully, he was insured for injury his Sr. year.

For all those people who poo-poo'ed Jimbo Fisher's being a recruiting threat at aTm when he was first hired.
Fisher definitely out-recruiting Herman in Texass. 17/24 aTm recruits are from Texass and Herman has 11/20.
Currently, Fisher has 11 of the Top 30 in Texass committed and Herman has 3.
Oklahoma has 5 of the top 30 committed currently.
Ohio St., UGA, Illinois, LSU, Notre Dame and Stanford have 1 each.
5 are undecided with only one leaning to Herman.

re: If every Rice grad attended football games, they still wouldn't fill up their stadium
Posted by Boudreaux in SF on 11/16/18 at 2:16 pm

Why did they build such a large stadium?
Stadium was built in 1950 when Rice was member of the SWC, along with Texas, A&M, SMU, TCU, Baylor, Arkansas, etc.) The size was needed then. As originally built, Rice Stadium seated 70,000, the second-largest stadium in the Southwest Conference (behind the Cotton Bowl). Rice Stadium was built before professional football came to Houston, and 70,000 fans might be expected to attend a college football game there. However, that changed and the stadium was downsized.

Division 1 would be 64 teams in 4 16 teams conferences. The rest of modern day FBS teams would be regulated to Division 1a.
Each conference would have 2 Divisions of 8 teams.
You play all seven in your division and two from other division of your conference rotating each year (play each team in other division of your conference once every four years on a rotating home and home).
You play one each from every other conference on a rotating basis (you play every one of the other 48 teams outside your conference once every 16 years). This results in those "never see" match-ups.
Every team is allowed to play one team from the lower division 1a. That way the San Jose St's of the world will get their payday and each of the 64 teams gets a warm up to start the season, then the big boy football begins. The current scheduling with 3 patty-cake games that fans hate disappear.
Division champs play a conference Championship game.
Conference champs make up a four team playoff to decide National Champ.
ETA:
No computers, no polls, the Champion is decided on the field.
One NCAA referee office that assigns crews from out of the area for each and every game.

I wish the staff would at least push for Constantin.
He would play the same position as Marcel Brooks.
Who is rated higher by the "services"?
Who do the coaches have higher on their recruiting board?
Why "push" for redundancy when there are other needs to fill?
The staff determined there was one spot open and pushed for and got a commitment from Marcel Brooks, no need or spot for Constantin.

Can you remind me who the defensive line coach and recruiting coordinator was in 2015?
Ed O was hired as DL coach on Jan. 14, 2015. Less than 1 month before the 2015 signing day.
The RC for 2015 was Frank Wilson, who held the position until he accepted the UTSA HC job on Jan. 14, 2016.
On Mar. 5, 2016 Ed O was given the title of RC by Les Miles. A title he held until he was named Interim HC on on Nov. 26, 2016.

5 officials total. One per school. Have to be home team (host).
The idea, or perception, is that this is basically 2 visits to Bama.
He skipped a big game in UGA, by going to watch Bama play a last place (0 conf wins) foe. And then only comes to our OV when guess who is in town.
There is a difference between Official Visits (OV) and unofficial visits (UV).
A prospect can unofficially visit a school as many times at he wants on his own dime. The school can unofficially host a prospect as many times at he wants to visit, as long as the prospect pays for any expenses associated with said unofficial visits. (Thomas and Stingley have been to majority of LSU home games as unofficial visitors this season; Christian Williams, the Bama commit, will be making his second unofficial visit to LSU for this game).
ETA: A school can only provide tickets to the game for the prospect and parent on an unofficial visit.
The school can only host a prospect on an Official Visit once and the school picks up the expenses of said visit (meals, lodging, travel and transportation for the prospect and parent).
Each prospect is allowed up to 5 Official Visits to different schools.
When a prospect is on an official or unofficial visit to a school in a game situation he cannot have direct contact with members of the staff of opposing school. Therefore, all visitors to LSU for the LSU v. Bama game can only have face to face contact with LSU staff.
Sopsher will be on an unofficial visit to LSU for the game, as he was on his visit to Bama for the Missouri game.
