I love it when the kids start pinching and pulling each other's hair...
He wasn't getting on the field anyway...next quarterback with a past.
he wasn't fired for what he said...was fired for something he did...and dong shots were the ticket.

"The former ESPN football analyst admitted to taking a cellphone picture of his genitals and showing the image to co-workers at a bar in 2006, according to USA Today.

Yikes!

The all-sports network suspended him soon after, and declined to renew his contract in 2008. Salisbury was an NFL quarterback for eight years and an ESPN NFL analyst for 12.

"I was ashamed, and I didn't want to say anything," Salisbury told Michael Hiestand of USA Today. "I thought it would go away and let my ego get in the way. Since then, I've beat myself up about it more than 10 baseball bats could. A stupid mistake can cost you, and this has really cost me. I should have been having this conversation a long time ago."

Prior to the admission this week, Salisbury had vehemently denied the allegations. He even brought a lawsuit against sports blog Deadspin.com about the matter.

The former quarterback said the flashing only happened once, and that it was a "sophomoric mistake."
You two dufuses are haters...Del State is going to rack up the meeack and you both know it. :rotflmao:
Del St. is a part of the MEAC conference and those guys are giant killers...you'll see this weekend what happens when they go to Wake.
I'm not sure...could you post some more games for us to look at so we can make a better decision?
We lost our tradition of crab pinchin', pacing the sidelines calling timeouts after every 3rd and long, snapping the headset after every draw didn't work, etc. over 3 years ago.

Traditions lost...shite, what will we do.

In addition to the criminal charges this Herbacide Al is going to have to face, don't you also figure he'll be forced to pay for the damages he caused in some sort of civil suit?

Seems like that would make all this Bama money gravy to the barns.

:yack:
"Tide for Toomers" has raised over $3,000 from Tide fans...and the barns still hate you. They hated you before the trees and they hate you still. Nothing really has changed except you guys are $3k lighter in the pocket.

the ncaa should fold up shop and drop the investigation into paying players after this...
I listened tonight from little rock on the web and thought it was a good show...was actually a good listen. Say what you want about the hosts, but I thought they were insightful and ran a very good program. Bond didn't show up until about a minute left in the show and there wasn't much there...he did say that the HBO guys were not there to discuss oversigning. Apologized for calling in so late, but said he would be there next week...guess we'll see.

In spite of the hype of Bond being on the show and then almost not, the program was very entertaining, and not in the finebaum sort of way...they actually talked sports...mostly football, but some basketball.

I'm sure the barns won't care for their demeanor and opinions, but it was fun to listen to. Did not seem like their first show.
What is wrong with calling it like it is??? I wish Dykes and other announcers would call everything like it is...my problem with JD is he jumps on something obvious and neglects a lot of other points he should be making.
We should practice our baseball team in Bud Walton Arena...it isn't any good to us right now.
The reason it was anticlimactic was because the lowest score you could get was 120...Locker had maybe 70 points in his first round and he got 120 for a score. When Mallett stood up there for his final throw, the guaranteed 120 had already won.

That was lame...didn't want to make anyone look bad so they give them a minimum score for each round. Lame.
Then he doesn't need to be riding around in those areas...I'm sure there are other areas in Decatur where he can ride around without worrying about getting shot at...

...unless he's up to some mischief.

more like a hair-pullin' match...i'll take the flagship by 6...54-48.
I'm rooting for LSU just like I have all our other bretheren in the SEC this bowl season. And to quote my favorite Jimmy Buffet song, "Come Monday", I will be breaking that conference alliance. Quack, quack...
